Planning your next break to Jersey? Be inspired and find great deals on luxury weekend getaways to this island that mixes English and French culture at Voyage Prive.

Experience Jersey's dramatic Atlantic coastline

At a mere 118 kilometres squared (you could walk the circumference of this idyllic island in a day), Jersey's size means that you're never far from a dramatic beach or a quiet cove. This gorgeous coastline is certainly Jersey's main attraction and when you visit you'll understand why. Whether you're looking for the breathtaking glamour of St Brelade's Beach, the secluded charm of Portelet bay or the wild and windy expanse of St Ouen's bay, Jersey has the perfect beach for you. Because of its proximity to the Continent, Jersey is the warmest place in the UK.

Getting a tan at any time of the year can be a tortuous experience if you're a Brit, but you stand a better chance in Jersey than anywhere else!

Explore the island's rich and unique history

Once you've found your ideal sun trap, and set up camp with your towel, wind-breaker, bucket and spade, why not allow your curiosity to get the better of you, by exploring the unique idiosyncrasies of the island's coastline? Dotted up and down the shore, wherever you go in Jersey you'll find striking evidence of the island's recent military past in the shape of coastal defences, bomb shelters and watchtowers. Along with its fellow channel islands, Jersey represents the closest Adolf Hitler got to a successful invasion of Britain during the Second World War. So the island is littered with fascinating ruins and relics to be explored. You might think them an eye sore, or you might think them imbued with rugged grandeur - either way, they are an intrinsic part of what makes Jersey a sought after destination for unique weekend getaways and breaks.

Indulge in Jersey's rich local cuisine

Much of the aforementioned military infrastructure has been given a second lease of life in recent years. Watchtowers have been converted into residential properties, air raid complexes have been transformed into adventure play areas for adventurous kids and some of the beach front defences have even been turned into rough and ready lobster shacks! This beautiful island is rightly famous for its delicious seafood, and whether it's grilled on a barbecue and eaten on the sand, or served up as the centrepiece of a unique fine dining experience, we know that Jersey has dining experiences to suit any taste or budget.

Jersey is a very special place, and we have an exclusive and hand-picked range of hotels to match. What's more, with our exceptional offers and discounts, Jersey could be just right for that perfect mini-break that doesn't break the bank!

the accommodation was clean and lovely. We did not avail of any of the services at the resort as we were on a relaxing holiday - time to recharge our batteries. However we did make enquiries about the possibility of this and the staff were very helpful and informative. The resort was large and clean and there were plenty of activities to chose from if you so wished. Please note meal, facilities and leisure activites are 3 as we did not avail of any of these options

The staff could not have been more helpful; the food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent; location was great with lovely view across the bay, easy to reach by public bus from the airport and buses to St Helier go frequently from St Aubin, it’s also quieter than St Helier (as less traffic).
