Going on holiday in Devon

Salcombe Harbour Hotel 4*
Weather-wise, the best time to visit Devon is from June to October, when the temperature is pleasant, and the rainfall is limited. The highest average temperature is 19 degrees C in July. Many of the county's National Trust properties and main attractions open from the beginning of April to the end of October, so if you want to take in some historic houses, then it is worth bearing this in mind.

Proximity to restaurants/harbourside, open space to walk. Room size very generous, bed super comfy, quality bed linen and towels. Breakfast was fine, the usual fare available. The 3 course meal in Marco Pierre White restaurant was amazing!!! Service perfectly paced between courses. All in all thoroughly enjoyable.
