Your Destination —
The site is a privately owned Equestrian Centre which includes stabling and the owners' house. There is an honesty shop for logs and some basic provisions.
Adjacent is the Venn Ottery reserve with over 40 species of birds, and the Devon moorland horses which can sometimes be seen seen poking their heads over the fence!
Devon has many interesting attractions and natural sites. The coast is 20 minutes away with Jurassic geology. Check out independent eateries such as the 'The Pea Green Boat cafe' on the Sidmouth water front serving good quality food and wines.
Your Accommodation —
Behind Bramble Shepherd Hut is a smaller hut housing the hot shower and camp style loo, with Victorian style water jug and basin. Towels are provided.
The hut has its own covered veranda at the front overlooking the tree dotted grounds. The hut also has its own fire pit for outdoor campfire socialising.
