Your Destination —
Honiton nearby is an old market town famous for its lace making. A pub restaurant worth visiting is The Holt west along the high street where good food is served and great locally brewed beer by the Ottery brewery made by the owners' brother - why not try a sample of each one!
Your Tent —
The Double bed area can be zipped to form a seperate canvas compartment, with the rest of the tent being open plan to include the kitchen which has a sink (cold water supply), gas hob, cool box, pots and pans and utensils. There is a day bed with another pull out single, table, chairs and a cute pot bellied stove to light and get cosy next to at night time.
To the front of your Safari tent is a decked area with a table and chairs for relaxing, eating or an occasional glimpse of the horses in the menage over the little bridge. There is also a camp fire pit a safe distance from the tent if you fancy cooking al fresco.
Outside the back of the tent are two huts, one with a hot shower and opposite that a camping loo - you can sit and listen to the stream just behind the tent as it babbles along under the tree lined boundary!

DIRECTIONS: From M5 junction 30, follow Sidmouth A376, at next roundabout take second exit - Sidmouth A3052.
After appox. 5miles turn left at the Halfway Inn - B3180 (signed Ottery St. Mary). After 1 mile, take first right turn - SMALL white signpost to Venn Ottery - easily missed! After 0.5m turn left signed Venn Ottery. Turn into drive marked 'Otterdene Safari Tents'
From A30 Honiton - exit at B3180 Ottery St Mary. At the roundabout follow Exmouth, Budleigh Salterton, West Hill, take 4th left at small white sign to Venn Ottery, easily missed. After 0.5m turn left signed Venn Ottery, turn into drive marked 'Otterdene Safari Tents'
SATNAV'S are not always accurate, so please check directions above although the SATNAV might bring you off the M5 at junction 29.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE: Arrivals are after 3pm on your commencement date, and departures are by 11am on your departure date. If you are very delayed you might want to let owners Judy and Ed know. (Their contact number will be on your issued vouchers). The tents are not lockable and although the site is private we would advise that you do not leave valuables unattended.
