Very good Hotel in Aghios Nikolaos. No complaints. Very beautiful place. Excellent food. Room nice and quiet. Very good hotel in Heraklion and a very helpful staff. Beautiful view of the Bay of Heraklion.

3 days to the east and 3 days to the west of the island allowed us to visit well without getting bored. The hotel Arolithos in Tylissos is really beautiful, very typical. Perfect meal. The welcome was very warm, and the person very friendly. The Hermes Hotel in Heraklion is a very nice establishment, we ate very well. The Nefeli Hotel in Rethymnon was also good but lacked some Greek food. We made the comment to the staff and the next day there was more typical food. Good reactivity.

It does not take into account the fact that you have to take the boat back to Heraklion at 9am while staying last in Rethymno so get up again very early and drive at night

The buffet is delicious, the menus change to chasue meals it's really a very good food. The staff are lovely, the rooms are well soundproofed and the balcony is super nice. The bus runs right past the hotel which serves Heraklion and the eastern part of the island.

Animation in Hersonissos. The location of the village allows many excursions to the east of Crete (Heraklion is about 20 miles away, a city bus passes 30 m from the hotel (3.5€/person) and makes the connection regularly. The hotel is very well located, we had a room with a sea view in August; it is very beautiful but noisy for a good part of the night and in the early morning because the young people come home drunk and sing at the top of their voices , you can hear the bass from the discotheques... But hey, it's a sea view with noise or a garden view without noise. The hotel: Cozy atmosphere, you feel at home. The buffet is a bit repetitive but you just have to go to the grill where Ali serves us different grills every evening. For the return, our transfer took place at 3 p.m. You had to leave the room by 11 a.m. at the latest... To take full advantage of the beach, the hotel offers showers with everything you need (towel, locker, shampoo, hair dryer) and luggage storage. Top !
