The hotel is situated on Gran Via, one of Madrid's main thoroughfares. Nearby you'll find the best of the city's shopping, entertainment and cultural sites, including the world renowned Museo del Prado. The Gran Via Metro station is also just a few steps away, connecting you easily with the rest of Madrid and Barajas Airport.

Many of Madrid's incredible cultural offerings are close to the hotel: starting at the world famous Paseo del Prado, the Prado Museum is one of the best in the Europe. Here you can see some of the finest Spanish and Italian pieces the art world has to offer. Also within what is called the "Art Triangle" you'll find the Thyssen-Bornemisza museum, with 1000+ pieces charting the history of European art. And if it’s more contemporary art you're looking for, take a trip to the Reina Sofia Art Centre - one of the most modern galleries in the world and home to Picasso's iconic "Guernica". The beautiful Retiro Park is also nearby - perfect for a relaxing stroll at the end of the day.

As the sun sets, you'll find a wealth of tapas bars in the local area opening their doors - try traditional Spanish meats, cheeses and breads along with your beer, wine or sherry. Madrid has a reputation for its lively nightlife and you may well find yourself staying out and dancing until the sun rises again!

Bocablo - is the latest addition to the De las Letras hotel. Its large windows look out to the bustle of Gran Vía from its peaceful, elegant interior, creating a sense of space and tranquillity. At night, good music and a young and lively crowd.

Your Journey —

Flights: The flights included are with scheduled airlines and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.

Transfers: Transfers are not included.  Distance between airport and hotel is approximately 15 km (20 minutes)

Meet & Greet —

If you are driving to the airport in the UK, and book our package including flights, you may wish to add our 'Meet and Greet' service. Take the hassle out of airport parking and have an official representative take your car on arrival, and it will be waiting for you on your return.

This can be added at the next stage of booking process where available.

ATOL Protected —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel Documents —

Flight Inclusive Offers -You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours.
Please check all details on this confirmation are correct.  If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible.

The airline is ticketless and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents.  You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website.

You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

If you have booked transfers, 'Meet & Greet', car hire or airport lounges, you will receive a separate voucher for each of these services.  Please note that transfer vouchers are sent directly from the transfer supplier.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your ‘Safe Senders’ list or check your ‘Junk mail’ regularly for your travel documents.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
