Renowned for its Film Festival and Carnival, Sitges' artsy reputation dates back to the late 19th century, when Catalan painter Santiago Rusiñol took up residence there during the summer, the town became a centre for the 1960s counterculture in mainland Spain, then still under the dictatorship of Francisco Franco, and became known as "Ibiza in miniature".

Garraf Natural Park
A stunning setting of calcareous rocks and exotic plants, where you can enjoy riding excursions, hiking and trekking routes and country houses and small towns nestled in the middle of the natural park. You can also explore Palau Novella, right in the heart of the park, the first Buddhist monastery in Catalonia.
Barcelona
Sitges is just 35 km. away from Barcelona , and with a railway service with departures every 30 minutes, it couldn't be easier to reach. The work of Gaudi, the Gothic Quarter and the Cathedral are a must if you visit the Catalan capital.
Montserrat
A Benedictine Monastery located in a unique mountain shaped by erosion. Montserrat is a Catalan symbol and a pilgrimage centre for believers and a must for tourists.
Enotourism
Sitges is located in the Garraf County, bordering the Penedès County, the origin of wine with the Penedes Protected Designation of Origin. Visit the vineyards in this famous area, from family-owned to international cellars.
