Gran Canaria

Gran Canaria is renowned for its beautiful nature and fascinating history. You can choose whether to relax or to explore this naturally diverse destination they call the 'Miniature continent' because of the sheer variety of nature on display. From volcanic craters to snow-topped mountains, sand dunes of Maspalomas and rich forests, every element of the natural world can be found here in some form.

Tenerife

Tenerife is a paradise for open-air and adventure sports. Golf, water sports, trekking and cycling routes are just a few of the many options available, all of which can be enjoyed amid spectacular natural scenery. Whilst the bustling port city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife is full of waterside cafes, quirky boutiques and lots of traditional Spanish restaurants.

It is a welcome change from some of the more touristy towns of the island, as it has retained its local charm.

La Palma

La Palma is traditionally known as 'La Isla Bonita' or 'The Beautiful Island', thanks to its incredible natural landscapes, home to numerous volcanoes, lush forests and expansive beaches. Pay a visit to the Caldera de Taburiente National Park and head to Roque de los Muchachos at the island's highest point - reaching 2,400 metres high. From here, you can bask in the 'Sea of Clouds', with beautiful views of the horizon.

Funchal (Madeira)

More than just a destination for sun and sea, Madeira is an island steeped in culture and tradition with a host of museums and galleries right in the heart of Funchal. However, Madeira also embraces the future and has become quite contemporary in many areas, most noticeably at the Centre of Art - Casa das Mudas. The contrast and diversity of the island and its shores provide a host of activities for you to enjoy whether on land or sea.

Agadir (Morocco)

Agadir, situated along the southern Atlantic coast of Morocco, boasts some of the most modern architecture in Africa, owing to its reconstruction after an earthquake in 1960. The city is famed for its restaurants, cafes and bars, as well as its easily navigable streets. With a bay that can count itself as one of the most beautiful in the world, Agadir simply must be visited.

Its modern vibe, coupled with almost constant sunshine, provides the fantastic backdrop to a luxury holiday. It has a great fishing port which will allow you to enjoy some of the ocean's best catches. Arabic is the official language of Morocco, but French is also widely spoken.

Lanzarote

Situated off the west coast of Africa, holidays to Lanzarote offers something for beach lovers, adventure tourists, and families alike. Its natural beauty is diverse and magnificent, featuring striking mountains and idyllic beaches. For a different but equally awe-inspiring experience, Timanfaya National Park is a must-see attraction. Entirely made up of volcanic soil, the highlight of the park is the volcano Timanfaya itself, which is still active.

Here guests are wowed by the pouring of water into the volcano’s heart and watching it spout up again as a geyser or, depending on the tour you take, sampling some of the food cooked from the heat of the volcano. You can even take a camel ride around the park. The almost alien landscape - unchanged since the last eruption in 1824 - looks like something out of a sci-fi film set on Mars and is well worth a visit.
