The beautiful Retiro Park is perfect for a day in the sunshine or for a relaxing stroll at the end of the day. As the sun sets, you'll find a wealth of tapas bars in the local area opening their doors - try traditional Spanish meats, cheeses and breads along with your beer, wine or sherry.
If you find yourself out as late as 2am, wander over to the vibrant Mercado de San Miguel, showcasing an extraordinary array of market foods and now a popular nightspot where locals gather to enjoy drinks, tapas and even watch a concert.
