Your Hotel —
In a typical 1940s building of Barcelona’s Eixample district that still has its original facade and wrought iron gate, stands Sercotel Amister Art Hotel. After extensive restoration and renovation of this former family residence, its owners, collectors of contemporary art, decided to use it as an artistic space, a place to exhibit 'Art'. Eight young artists were selected to do a project especially for the hotel. Each was assigned a floor or space to exhibit their work.
As well as the exhibition of paintings and sculptures, customers of Ámister Art Hotel can enjoy a unique feature, which is the screening of one of the largest private collections of video art through a unique channel in your room and also on the screen in the lounge area.
