Watch the Action at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya —
Gear up for a thrilling race weekend! Formula 1 Grand Prix of Catalonia takes place at Montmeló on the outskirts of Barcelona. Showcasing panoramic views from the Grandstands and some of the most popular General Admission areas, true F1 fans are quick to snap up tickets for this exciting date on the F1 calendar.
Built in 1991 for the start of the 1992 Summer Olympics cycling event in Barcelona, the circuit is 4.7 kilometres long and has 16 corners and a 1200m long straight that runs alongside the pits and grandstands, and where it is not uncommon for drivers to exceed 310 km/h! Over the years, it has been the scene of epic duels between drivers: Senna vs Mansell in 1991, Schumacher vs Hakkinen in 2001 or Hamilton vs Rosberg in 2016.
In 2023, the two-time reigning world champion Max Verstappen will be keen to defend his crown and win this grand prix for the second time in a row. But he will have his work cut out for him as Lewis Hamilton, dethroned in 2021 and 2022, will be keen to win again on this track and attempt to claim an eighth world championship title. In the shadow of this intense rivalry, Charles Leclerc will also be trying to make up for a disappointing 2022 season.
Get ready for the return of the Spanish Grand Prix!

Barcelona —
Barcelona is the capital of Catalonia, an autonomous state in Spain’s northeast, where you can experience this region’s unique culture in a lively and cosmopolitan city. Situated on the Mediterranean coast, here, it’s possible to combine a trip to a modern and bustling city with a relaxed beach break while discovering some of the country’s best museums and galleries.
In the centre of the city, the skyline is dominated by the iconic La Sagrada Familia, a still-unfinished church designed by Antoni Gaudí in the late-nineteenth century. To see more of Gaudi’s unique vision, head to Park Güell in the north of the city, where you’ll be granted a stunning view of the narrow streets of the city centre. If you're hankering for modern Catalan art and sculpture, the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art is the place to go, which offers a collection spanning 5,000 works.
As the sun goes down, enjoy an authentic paella or tapas alongside a local Catalonian wine in the Gothic district of the city, the Barri Gòtic. Afterwards, the best sunset views are achieved by getting the cable car up the Montjuïc Mountain, where you can relax beside a 17th-century fortress. Further out of the city, Tibidabo Mountain offers a breathtaking vista over the city and the Mediterranean Sea, as well as the charming sight of a small amusement park - where else in the world can you ride a rollercoaster 500 m above sea level?
