The street boasts flagship stores from designers including Gucci and Chanel. It is also the site of the famous design shop Vinçon. This sprawling two-floor department store has a beautifully ornate interior and offers all things design including prints, ornaments and kitchen appliances.
At the bottom of Paseo de Gracia – a pleasant 5 minute walk past old buildings including some of Gaudi's classics – is Plaza Catalunya. This large square sits at the top of the Ramblas – Barcelona's famous pedestrianised street that is brimming with tourists and street entertainers.
