Upon arrival in Luxor, you will be transferred to your cruise ship and embark for the start of your journey along the legendary Nile. After check-in around midday, enjoy lunch on board before beginning your first discovery of ancient Egypt.

Your programme starts with a visit to the Temple of Karnak, one of the largest religious complexes ever built and dedicated primarily to the god Amun-Ra. Wander through monumental pylons, admire the Great Hypostyle Hall with its 134 towering columns, and discover obelisks, statues and sacred lakes that reveal the splendour of ancient Egyptian civilisation.

DAY 2: LUXOR → EDFU

After breakfast on board, set off to discover the remarkable Temple of Medinet Habu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, built under the reign of Ramses III. Its monumental pylons and colourful reliefs depict royal victories and sacred ceremonies.

Return to the ship and continue sailing along the Nile while enjoying lunch on board as the landscapes of Upper Egypt slowly unfold.

DAY 3: EDFU → KOM OMBO → ASWAN

Begin the day with a visit to the impressive Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the falcon god Horus. This exceptionally well-preserved temple reveals monumental architecture, intricate reliefs and sacred halls recounting the myths and rituals of ancient Egypt.

Later, sail towards Kom Ombo, where you will explore the unique double temple dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder. Overlooking the Nile, its symmetrical structure and fascinating carvings make it one of the most unusual temples in Egypt.

DAY 4: ASWAN

After breakfast, discover the impressive Aswan High Dam, a remarkable engineering achievement that controls the Nile’s floods and created the vast Lake Nasser, one of the largest artificial lakes in the world.

Later, enjoy a relaxing motorboat ride on the Nile, offering beautiful views of Aswan’s granite islands, lush riverbanks and colourful Nubian villages.

Dinner will be served on board followed by a traditional Nubian show, featuring music, dance and vibrant cultural performances.

Today is dedicated to a scenic day of sailing back along the Nile. Relax on deck as the ship passes palm groves, traditional villages and fishermen along the riverbanks.

During the journey, the boat will cross the Esna Lock, a fascinating moment that reveals the mechanics of navigation along the Nile and offers a glimpse of daily life in this authentic riverside town.

DAY 7: LUXOR

Enjoy a day at leisure in Luxor, often described as the world’s greatest open-air museum. Relax on board or explore the city independently, wandering through lively souks, cafés and riverfront promenades.
