Arrival in Cairo and transfer to your hotel. Spanning both banks of the Nile, Egypt’s vast capital blends vibrant modern life with layers of ancient history.

After breakfast, depart for the Giza plateau. Stand before the Great Pyramid of Khufu, built around 2650 BC and the only surviving Wonder of the Ancient World, as well as the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure. You will also see the iconic Sphinx, guardian of the necropolis.
In the afternoon, continue to Memphis, the ancient capital of the Old Kingdom, before visiting Saqqara, home to Djoser’s Step Pyramid, considered the earliest monumental stone structure in history.

This morning, explore the West Bank of Luxor, including the Valley of the Kings, where pharaohs of the New Kingdom were laid to rest in rock-cut tombs.
Continue to the impressive Temple of Ramses III at Medinet Habu, followed by a photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon.

The currency is the Egyptian pound (EGP). Egypt is best explored by a combination of domestic flights, private transfers, and river cruises.
