Hotel Billroth is located on the banks of the stunning Wolfgang Lake in a location that will take your breath away. The stunning lake is surrounded by dramatic hills, where red steam trains and bright cable cars weave through the luscious bunches of trees. Sail boats entwine with the windswept waves. The gorgeous sun sparkles off the glassy surface of the deep blue water. This is a real escape from life's hustle and bustle - a true enclave of beauty, scenic and quiet.

The lake is, of course, the centrepiece of your stay. It's perfect for swimming and water sports, as well as taking the shipping service to neighbouring towns. Hiking on the hillside will give you different angles to the gorgeous views and you'll be able to appreciate the mirror-like quality of the lake from great heights.   

Your hotel is 1km away from St. Gilgen, a lovely village with brightly coloured buildings. Walk around to centre for a sip of beer or a dinner.

We recommend you visit Hallstat, a 45 minute drive away and one of the most spectacular sites you'll see in your life. This gorgeous village, with pastel coloured houses and chugging boats, was a salt mine village and inhabited even in 800BC, when it flourished during the Iron Age. The history and scenic views have attracted visitors for centuries.

Parkhotel Billroth is placed conveniently on the lake, boasting its own boathouse and docks so you can take advantage of its gorgeous location. Spend days bathed in light when you relax on the terrace or relax in the beautifully decorated interiors. While the hotel has been expertly renovated, much of the decor still recalls its earlier life as an extravagent home to Theodor Billroth - a 19th century famous surgeon and close friend of composer Brahms. Bask in the traditionally Austrian interiors, with furniture and art recalling a fascinating period in history.

The restaurant is another fantastic feature of this hotel. Your Half Board basis gives you the opportunity to sample the best flavours of local cuisine in a gourmet environment.

Car Hire —

Please note you cannot be guaranteed a specific make of car within a certain group.
The minimum age for driving a hire car in COUNTRY is 21 and drivers must have held a full driving licence for a least 1 year.

The lead name on the booking will be confirmed as the named driver.  The named driver must present a credit card in their name when collecting the car (credit cards in other names will not be accepted).

The named driver must also present a full valid driving licence on collection of the vehicle and in some cases a credit card or cash deposit will be required.

Please ensure that you check your car hire documents carefully once received as this will advise if there are any taxes/charges to be paid locally as well as potential mileage restrictions.

Your Contract —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel Documents —

Flight Inclusive Offers
You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours.

Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible.

The airline is ticketless and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website.

You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

If you have booked transfers car hire or airport lounges, you will receive a separate voucher for each of these services. Please note that transfer vouchers are sent directly from the transfer supplier.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
