Located in the Berchtesgadener Land in the Bavarian Alps of Germany, these chalet apartments are placed directly on the border with Austria, among breathtaking mountain scenery. Ideal to explore in any season, summer activities include hiking, mountain biking, paragliding and golf.

If you're looking for a peaceful place for a retreat to the mountains, the Luxuslodge Zeit zum Leben offers the perfect accommodation. Located in the heart of Salzburger Land, an hour from Salzburg and 40 minutes from Halstatt, these three stylish chalets offer plenty of luxury facilities for a relaxing stay. Each lodge offers space for you to stay with family or friends, as well as a kitchenette, dining area, and private outdoor hot tub! 

Guests can also take advantage of the wellness area at the property, with a range of beauty treatments and massages perfect for after a long day exploring the mountains.

This offer is based on a choice between a Chalet Riedelkar (60m²) or a Chalet Mahdalm (150m²).

Chalet Riedelkar

The Chalet Riedelkar is a stylish and homely accommmodation with enough space for the whole family to stay. Offering two separate bedrooms, everyone will feel at home here, and you can also dine as a family at the end of the day in the kitchentte and dining area. Each bedroom is equipped with pine floors and plenty of amenities, as well as a private outdoor hot tub!

Chalet Mahdalm

The Chalet Mahdalm is an even more spacious option, with an incredible 150 square meters for you to relax in at the end of the day! Warm up by the fire after a day on the mountains, before resting your head in one of the three bedrooms. This chalet also offers three separate bathrooms, a kitchenette, and open-plan living and dining area. This chalet also offers your own private spa area, with an outdoor hot tub, sauna, and relaxation room!

This offer is based on a Bed and Breakfast stay.

The chalet's fridge is filled before arrival and contains: butter, yogurt, milk, sausage, cheese, eggs, jam, honey, Nutella, muesli, cornflakes, fruit juice and fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables. Bread is delivered fresh every day. A large selection of coffee and tea, sugar, salt, and pepper are also provided.

Each chalet at the Luxuslodge Zeit zum Leben features its own spacious kitchenette, where you can rustle up a feast at the end of the day with family or friends. Equipped with an oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, tableware, a kettle, fridge, and four hotplates, you'll have everything you need for a stress-free dinner.

Flights: The flights included are with either a scheduled or no-frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.

Transfers: It may be possible to add return transfers at the next stage of the booking process for an additional fee (flight inclusive offers only - subject to availability).

For inbound transfer arrangements please confirm with your transfer provider when you arrive. Alternatively, please check with the reception of your accommodation. If you still require assistance, please call the transfer provider directly.

You must ensure you have a valid passport to travel on. 

If your passport describes you as a British Citizen, you do not need a visa to enter Austria. For non-British citizens, you should check the current entry requirements on the website of the Foreign Ministry and if necessary, confirm with the Austrian Embassy.

The minimum age for driving a hire car in Austria is 21 and drivers must have held a full driving licence for a least 1 year. 

If you don't have a driver's license for the country you are travelling in, you will need either a European or international driving license.

The lead name on the booking will be confirmed as the named driver.  The named driver must present a credit card in their name when collecting the car (credit cards in other names will not be accepted).

The named driver must also present a full valid driving licence on collection of the vehicle and in some cases a credit card or cash deposit will be required.
