Kas is one of the leading spots for diving in Turkey. There are three licensed diving schools with equipment for hire. If you decide to try diving in Kas you can expect to see a beautiful array of fish and other sea creatures like octopus and possibly dolphins, and also some ancient ship wrecks.

The Peninsula Gardens Hotel is considered one of the most luxurious hotels on the Lycian coast. It is conveniently located on the tip of the Peninsula a short five minute drive from the charming harbour town.
Literally from the ground up, The Peninsula Gardens has been designed to make the most of the craggy coastal cliffs on which it stands and its beautiful bay with crystal clear waters. There are two buildings, but the slope allows the second building to command just as splendid a view as the first.

The rooms are furnished and decorated in a modern and contemporary style and 13 of the 18 rooms have their own outdoor pool with decked sun-bathing terraces. Amenities include air conditioning, a minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, and a lounge area with satellite TV and Internet access. Each room additionally features an en suite bathroom with a shower, as well as a double or king-size bed, and a private balcony or terrace.

Indulge in a Turkish Hammam experience, which both detoxes and purifies the skin; lay on a heated marble slab, whilst bowls of warm water are poured all over the body. This simple act is the beginning of a surprisingly soothing hour of relaxation; then a slightly coarse "kese" mitt is used to gently exfoliate the skin, washed away with warm soap bubbles, and then followed by a soothing massage to round off the experience.
Take part in the complimentary yoga or Pilates classes and follow it with a refreshing swim in either the indoor pool or the outdoor pool with intermittent wave effects. Or take a trip to Kas on the complimentary shuttle service (3 times daily) and visit its well-preserved ancient theatre or enjoy a boat trip out to sea.

The day trip to Kekova - the sunken city - is as beautiful as it is fascinating. The region of Kekova encompasses the island of Kekova, the villages of Kaleköy and Üçağiz and the four ancient towns of Simena, Aperlae, Dolchiste and Teimioussa. The entire Kekova region was declared a Specially Protected Area in 1990 in order to preserve the natural, cultural and geographic richness of Kekova Island and the surrounding coast.
