Your Destination —
Visit the famous Calvari with its 365 cypress lined steps (one for each day of the year) leading up to a tiny church high above the town. From here views extend across the rooftops of the town and as far as the bays of Puerto Pollensa and Alcudia together with the Puig de Maria mountain range. The beaches are ideal for children and the atmosphere is very relaxing with no loud nightclubs and discos but a variety of boutiques and shops to choose from.
Cala St. Vicente is a small peaceful resort situated between Pollensa and the Puerto Pollensa. The resort has three family friendly small sandy coves with sparkling blue waters and a scattering of bars and restaurants. The spectacular countryside here is also perfect for those who love the great outdoors.
Villa Guaita —
This offer is based on a self-catering stay.
The owners have made the most of the garden, filling it with palms, olive trees, shrubs and vines that create wonderful greenery and privacy. The main draws outside are the swimming pool and a delightful shaded front and side terrace with a teak dining table, bench sofa and lovely little stone well. Add the nearby barbecue and you have the perfect setting for al fresco lunches and suppers.
Inside, the two-storey villa is every inch the country charmer. The furnishings tread a nice line between stylish and traditional, with soft blues and earthy browns dominating. Step into the open-plan sitting-dining room and you are met with plump sofas, a wood dining table and chairs, and a rustic fireplace, all complemented by a satellite TV and DVD player.
An archway leads into the dark wood kitchen, which features all the essential equipment, such as a microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. In terms of the bedrooms, meanwhile, the Guaita has a double and two twins. All continue the traditional look, with the double furnished with a richly carved wooden bedstead, plush silky curtains and an impressive en-suite shower room.
Villa Can Tofol —
This offer is based on a self-catering stay.
On from the dining area is the kitchen which is superbly equipped with all modern appliances enabling to rustle up a tasty meal or two. The bedrooms can be accessed from the living room; the main double bedroom even has its own en-suite.
The exterior of the property is a real treat with a large outside kitchen equipped with a traditional barbeque, sink and even a washing machine. There is a lovely dining area perfect for enjoying those alfresco meals. If the sun becomes too much, a covered terrace area is a great place to relax with a good book. The large pool is framed by a paved terrace with plenty of space to lay back and catch some rays. If you wish to venture further a field Puerto Pollensa is a ten minute drive away.
Villa Coster Tomeu —
This offer is based on a self-catering stay.
A flagstoned driveway leads to the house, which offers light and spacious accommodation. Inside, ceramic tiled floors, beamed ceilings and white walls team up in the large lounge-come-dining area, which is elegantly furnished with an antique side table, pine dining table and comfortable sofas clustered around a stone fireplace. The three bedrooms are equally light and airy, with the same white walls, polished tiles and neat pine furnishings.
Patio doors from the lounge take you out to the front of the villa, which is skirted by extensive, stone-laid terraces and well-kept gardens planted with shrubs and palms. The pool sits in a prime spot between the lawns and terraces, and features Roman steps so you can get in and out easily. Just to one side is a spacious, roofed terrace furnished with a rustic dining table and bench seats - a fantastic spot for everyone to gather over meals and admire the scenery.
