Palma de Majorca —
Majorca frequently tops the charts as one of Europe’s most popular holiday destinations, and it’s easy to see why: this island houses cosmopolitan towns, dramatic cliffs and coves, and stunning beaches. Families will find the quieter resorts on the north coast of the island like Puerto Pollensa ideal for holidays with little ones, while couples can enjoy the vibrant nightlife in the capital Palma de Majorca or the lively beachfront resort of Playa de Palma.
On the peaceful east coast of the island, Alcúdia - one of the oldest cities in the Balearics - is a charming destination complete with a cobblestoned old town and medieval walls, just a short walk from the white sands of the spacious Playa d’Alcudia beach. For travellers looking for an active stay, Majorca is dotted with world-class golf courses, cycling and walking trails, and superb water sports facilities. This truly is a destination with something for everyone.
