A few minutes away from the hotel, guests will find golf courses, water sports and all activities related to the marine life of the region. The Melia Salinas hotel is host to a health and beauty center in an intimate atmosphere, where you can enjoy wellness and relaxation programs, relaxing massages with natural oils such as sweet almond, jojoba, apricot, hydro-modeling, cocoa foam, seaweed or Dead Sea mud, facials for men and women, toning and anti-aging, as well as specific Lanzarote treatments such as salts from the Salinas de Janubio, volcanic clay and aloe vera. Lanzarote —

Lanzarote is Spain’s south-easternmost Canary Island off the coast of West Africa. Only spanning a total of 800 square kilometres, the island has a very diverse landscape made up of volcanic caves, lakes of lava, craters as well as gold-sand beaches and turquoise blue waters. The island was declared a Biosphere Reserve in 1995 by UNESCO which the warm and friendly Lanzarote natives hold dearly and with pride. 

 

The island is a mix of what seems to be untouched natural beauty and tourist areas. Puerto del Carmen is among the most popular spots on the island known for its nightlife with bars and restaurants that stay open until the early morning. The sandy beaches, clear waters and warm weather are also great attractions and what draws many to the island.
