Car Hire:
For the freedom to explore your destination at your own pace, Sixt car hire may be added at the next stage of the booking process for an additional fee (flight inclusive offers only - subject to availability and Sixt office opening times upon your arrival). Maspalomas, on the south coast of Gran Canaria, is a resort town best known for its striking expanse of sand dunes, a 400-hectare area which was named a national park in 1994. However, this lively resort town has more to offer than otherworldly landscapes - here, you'll find nightlife, family-friendly attractions, and some attractive beaches, providing the perfect opportunity for a sun-soaked holiday.
For a slightly quirky day out, visit the Sioux City Park, a complete recreation of a Wild West town that's located just a short drive outside Maspalomas’ centre; or, cool off from the sun at Aqualand, where you’ll find both family-friendly attractions and plenty of opportunities to experience thrills.
At the end of the day, the best place to catch a stunning sunset is El Faro de Maspalomas, a 19th-century lighthouse overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the Playa de Maspalomas. Nearby, you’ll find a host of bars and restaurants, as well as a casino - perfect for night owls!
