Your Destination —
The second largest island of the Canaries is Fuerteventura, primarily known for its year-round warmth and multitude of paradisiacal beaches interrupted by craggy cliffs and secluded coves. The island itself draws striking similarities with the landscape of Northern Africa, while the architecture remains traditional. There are two types of houses: A typical home of the agrarian bourgeoisie and the simple peasant house.
Residing in the heart of the island, in Casillas del Ángel, Agro-Hotel Rugama is one of the most beautiful examples of Fuerteventura's traditional architecture. The hotel is a large and simple house and has an abundance of wood with minimal decorative motifs, such and as one would expect from a house with its importance and its size.
