Bilbao is home to a range of world class galleries and museums, delicious cuisine and a rich and proud cultural heritage. A few of the highlights of any trip to Bilbao should include:
The Guggenheim – This is one of the most spectacular looking buildings in the world. It was also the first step to the complete renovation of the city of Bilbao. Inside, the museum displays mainly contemporary and modern art.
Diocesan Museum of Sacred Art – this museum has a wide range of spacious art galleries and impressive paintings on exhibit, many of which date back to the 1300s, as well as silver works and religious artefacts.
Museum of Fine Arts – this museum specialises in a range of contemporary art, including a selection of Gothic paintings. They also hold concerts and film screenings at the museum's cinema.
Palacio de la Diputación – This beautiful baroque-style building was created in 1897 by Luis Aladrén. It was designed to be the seat of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia. It is a magnificent and proud standing building, bringing a piece of history to the present time.

Aizian Restaurant
A la carte restaurant, a fusion of traditional Basque cuisine with cutting edge creativity. Choose from fish, meat and delicious starters.
The restaurant is run by José Miguel Olazabalaga, one of the area’s most prestigious chefs. It has been awarded with a Sol in the Repsol Guide and was winner of the Spanish “Cocina de Autor” prize in 98. It also received the Pil Pil prize for best dish of the year and best dish of the decade. José Miguel Olazabalaga belongs to the Slow Food movement and has the KM 0 distinction.
Quatre Restaurant
Restaurant specialising in traditional Basque cuisine with modern touches, pintxos and tapas menu, as well as a set menu of the day and a children’s menu. Features a welcoming atmosphere within a covered patio and full of light thanks to the large windows with fabulous views of Doña Casilda Park.
Q Lounge
Ideal for listening to live music and enjoying a drink in a cosmopolitan atmosphere. Drinks, cocktails, long drinks, as well as a wide range of tapas and pintxos.
