Your Destination —

The village of Mozaga is in the middle of the island, which makes this a good base for exploring with a car. It takes about 20 minutes at most to get anywhere from here, so it is not really a problem not being on the coast. It is about 10 minutes’ drive from the airport.

A Unesco biosphere reserve, Lanzarote is an intriguing island with an extraordinary geology of 300 volcanic cones, at the same time ticking all the right good-time boxes. There are great beaches, interesting sights and plenty of restaurants and hotels. The landscape has a stark and otherworldly appearance, with the occasional bucolic, palm-filled valley juxtaposed with surreal, crinkly black lava fields.

Your Hotel —

This is a lovely traditional 18th-century country house in typical Lanzarote style, which means a low, white building with dark green paintwork and beamed ceilings.

Run by a local family, the various buildings have been turned into a laidback hotel which is not ultraluxurious but has plenty of character and rustic charm. The renovation made special emphasis in keeping harmony between the old and the new elements. The aim was to maintain all antique structural, architectural, furniture, family old paintings and objects.

Enjoy the free tea and coffee service in the lounge, which is located in the country house with the library.

It is surrounded by gardens with black volcanic soil where you can sunbathe. Don't miss out on the solarium - a lovely spot in which to sunbathe and relax in the sunshine. There is no pool, but there is a shower to help you cool down and with car hire you can easily get to the beach!

There are just eight rooms, two of which have a separate sitting room, set around a courtyard with traditional furniture. You almost feel you are staying in a private house rather than a hotel, but the rooms are equipped with basic mod cons such as televisions, hairdryers and internet access - so you should have a lovely, comfortable stay.

Your Board Basis —

This offer is based on a bed and breakfast stay.

The stables have been turned into a pleasant restaurant, which specialises in traditional Canarian cuisine using locally-sourced produce. The restaurant has an excellent reputation on the island, making it popular with non-guests. It gets pretty busy with locals at weekends!

Flights: The flights included are with either a scheduled or no frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.

Transfers: Private transfers can be added at the next stage of booking process for an additional fee. Approximate time/distance of transfer is 15 minutes / 14km.

Meet & Greet —

If you are driving to the airport in the UK, and book our package including flights, you may wish to add our Meet and Greet service. Take the hassle out of airport parking and have an official representative take your car on arrival, and it will be waiting for you on your return.

This can be added at the next stage of booking process where available.

Car Hire —

Please note you cannot be guaranteed a specific make of car within a certain group.

The minimum age for driving a hire car in Spain is 21 and drivers must have held a full driving licence for a least 1 year. You must present a full valid driving licence on collection of the vehicle and in some cases a credit card or cash deposit.

Please ensure that you check your car hire documents carefully once received as this will advise if there are any taxes/charges to be paid locally as well as potential mileage restrictions.

Your Contract —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel Documents —

Flight Inclusive Offers
You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours.

Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible.

The airline is ticketless and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website.

You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

If you have booked transfers, Meet & Greet, car hire or airport lounges, you will receive a separate voucher for each of these services. Please note that transfer vouchers are sent directly from the transfer supplier.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
