Your Destination —

Hotel Reina Cristina is located near the Algeciras port, one of the major areas in Europe known for its connection with the African continent. Algeciras lies to the west of Gibraltar on the far side of the bay. Although much of the town is modern, the old town around the Plaza Alta is very attractive and you can find many beautifully old buildings and churches as well as charming squares tucked away amongst the narrow streets. 

The pristine waters of Tarifa are only a few miles away, with its magnificent beaches and waves of more than five feet, perfect for surf lovers. Also noteworthy is its proximity to other interesting places such as Gibraltar, Marbella and Alcornocales Natural Park to name a few.

Popular excursions include whale watching cruises in the Bay of Gibraltar, trips to Tarifa to watch the bird migrations, and ferries to Gibraltar, Morocco and Tangiers.

This charming 4-star hotel, which opened in 1902, offers all services needed for a pleasant and relaxed sunshine break, such as extensive gardens, stunning pools (one indoor and one outdoor), sports courts and beautiful views over the Straits of Gibraltar.

The original Victorian decor has been carefully preserved throughout hotel, giving a feel of authenticity and historic charm.

Andalucía Restaurant – The hotel's buffet restaurant serves national and international cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Reina Cristina Restaurant – The hotel's a la carte restaurant serving grilled meat and fish, as well as local dishes.

Bar & Lounge – Lobby bar with snacks, cocktails, spirits and different kinds of refreshments.

Pool Bar – Opened during the summer months and located next to the outdoor pool.

Your Time —

The hotel features a large outdoor terrace around the gardens and boasts many leisure activities to enjoy during your stay including tennis, mini golf, petanque, sauna, heated indoor pool and a mini gym.

Your Journey —

Flights: The flights included are with either a scheduled or no-frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.

Transfers: Transfers are not included, but can be added at the next stage of the booking process for an additional fee. The transfer distance is approximately 27 km from Gibraltar and 133 km from Malaga.

Meet & Greet —

If you are driving to the airport in the UK, and book our package including flights, you may wish to add our 'Meet and Greet' service. Take the hassle out of airport parking and have an official representative take your car on arrival, and it will be waiting for you on your return.

This can be added at the next stage of booking process where available.

Your Contract —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel Documents —

Flight Inclusive Offers -

You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours.

Please check all details on this confirmation are correct.  If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible.

The airline is ticketless and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents.  You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website.

You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

If you have booked transfers, 'Meet & Greet', car hire or airport lounges, you will receive a separate voucher for each of these services.  Please note that transfer vouchers are sent directly from the transfer supplier.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your ‘Safe Senders’ list or check your ‘Junk mail’ regularly for your travel documents.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
