Located adjacent to the fabulous V&A Waterfront, this hotel occupies an historic 19th century building overlooking Table Bay and the city's iconic landmark, Table Mountain.
Environmentally-friendly, the hotel's 191 guest rooms all feature beautiful recycled floors and furniture.
Guests are treated to a bird’s-eye view of the restored harbour, secure parking and easy access to the waterfront’s many attractions. It is situated near the main routes to beaches, mountain walks and city hotspots.

The wagon drift that gives the area its name is within the hotel's grounds, and of course there is the Battlefield, just 5 minutes or a short walk away, where 11 Victoria Crosses were awarded.
The dramatic field of Isandlwana that was fought on the same day is just a 15 minute drive, and the poignant memorial at Fugitive’s Drift, 10 minutes downstream.
The soaring thatched roof design takes inspiration from traditional Zulu architecture and encloses spacious bar, lounge and dining areas, all with huge windows showing the views.
Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge is situated on the western boundary in the first private concession within Africa’s oldest proclaimed Game Reserve in Hluhluwe.
Set in a 96 000 hectare park Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge enables guests to enjoy 4 star luxury at a private lodge for the first time within the park, offering spectacular scenery and excellent safari opportunities within the heart of Big 5 territory.
The rooms have been carefully positioned high up on a ridge to take full advantage of the spectacular views over the hills and valleys of Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park while at the same time giving each room maximum privacy. This has resulted in some of the rooms being quite a distance from the central lodge facility with some of them being a 200 metre walk to the main lodge area. Guests are advised to pack comfortable flat shoes for walking along the paths.
