Mopaya Safari Lodge is located on the Balule "BIG 5" Private Game Reserve, which is open to the Kruger National Park between Hoedspruit and Phalaborwa. Bordered by the Olifants River which flows all year round, the Reserve is rich in wildlife with a high density of elephants, lions and buffalos. Seek out wild animals in their natural habitat at Mopaya Safari Lodge. There are no fences around the lodge or the safari tents and wild animals, including the "Big 5" (elephants, lions, buffalos, rhinos and leopards), roam freely, often observed when they go to drink at the waterhole located only 50 metres away.
