The crystalline turquoise sea is the star attraction at the Barceló Maya Palace 5*.
Located opposite one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, on the Riviera Maya, its architectural design was inspired by the area's typical colonial culture. The resort boasts six restaurants, all with views of the Caribbean Sea and many other facilities including three wonderful swimming pools; one for adults and one a children's water park - a gym, shopping centre, U-Spa, a kids' club and a U-Kids Spa.

Your Time
With so many activities on offer, this is one resort where you won’t have time to get bored! The fitness and sports facilities are great for staying in shape and there are courts and playing fields - or the nearby beach - for whatever takes your fancy.
The wonderful U-Spa is perfect for relaxing and includes a Temazcal; a type of Mayan steam bath with a special, curved architecture that induces a feeling of absolute relaxation. The spa’s facilities include massage rooms, a flotation room, a hydrotherapy room, 3 Vichy rooms and a Swiss treatment room.
But, of course, you mustn’t forget to take time out to head down to the spectacular beach and soak up the sun. Chichen Itza Collection
Chichen Itza, is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the wonders of the world. Join a guided tour to learn about the fascinating world of the Mayan culture.
After visiting this incredible city, head to the Mayan village of Yaxaal, a small Mayan town. After the village, travel to a nearby location for lunch. In the afternoon, head to a stunning natural freshwater spring, known as a cenote, to swim and admire its incredible geological formation.
Sian Kaan Tour
Visit the Sian Kaan nature reserve in an all terrain vehicle, for your chance to see crocodiles, dolphins, birds, turtles and more in their natural habitat.

VIP Visit to Maya Coba Village
The Mayans, the emblematic civilisation of the Yucatan Peninsula, saw their culture flourish from 300 BC until 1524 AD. With your guide, you will learn more about their history. Visit the impressive archaeological site of Coba and travel its ancient roads to reach one of the highest Mayan temples in the region.
Climb to the top of this impressive pyramid to enjoy a 360° view of beautiful landscapes on the horizon! Take a walk or bike ride (at an extra cost) around the local community. After a delicious, traditional lunch, head to a natural freshwater spring known as a cenote. Swim and relax in the crystal-clear waters before returning to your hotel.

For the freedom to explore your destination at your own pace, Sixt car hire may be added at the next stage of the booking process for an additional fee (flight inclusive offers only - subject to availability and Sixt office opening times upon your arrival). Please note you cannot be guaranteed a specific make of car within a certain group. The lead name on the booking will be confirmed as the named driver. The named driver must present a credit card in their name when collecting the car (credit cards in other names will not be accepted).
