Your Itinerary —
Upon arrival at Mexico City International Airport, a representative awaits you for pick-up and transfer to your hotel in downtown Mexico City. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight in Mexico City hotel on a bed-and-breakfast basis.
Day 2 | City Tour (Zócalo + Cathedral + National Palace) + Museum of Anthropology
Breakfast at the hotel is followed by a city tour of historic centre in the morning, including Zócalo (the city’s main square), the Metropolitan Cathedral, and the National Palace which features murals by famous artist Diego Rivera. After, we make a stop at the Anthropological Museum, one of the most important museums in Mexico, as it houses the heritage of pre-Columbian inhabitants and exhibits the ethnic diversity that exists in Mexico. The museum contains significant archaeological and anthropological artefacts from Mexico's pre-Columbian heritage, such as the Stone of the Sun. Return to your hotel and rest of the day at Leisure. Overnight in Mexico City hotel on a bed-and-breakfast basis.

Get the opportunity to appreciate Mexico’s culture from a different perspective by attending a beautiful folkloric ballet at one of the most amazing cultural precincts in Mexico: Palacio de Bellas Artes. Folkloric Ballet of Amalia Hernández was founded in 1952 and for six decades it has been the flagship ensemble of traditional folk dance in Mexico.

Very early in the morning we head to Teotihuacan and fly in a hot air balloon over the village of Teotihuacán and enjoy a fascinating and unique view of the ruins, fill yourself with energy from the majestic city of the gods from above! (includes transfer, flight over Teotihuacan, toast with sparkling wine)
After breakfast at the hotel it is time to visit the ancient pyramids of Teotihuacan. It was an ancient Mesoamerican city located in Valley of Mexico. Transport yourself back in time as you stroll along the Avenue of the Dead towards the imposing 2,000-year-old Pyramid of the Sun, the third largest in the world, and be overwhelmed by the sheer scale of this once vast city.
At the end of the visit, there is some free time to explore the site and to climb one of the colossal pyramids to enjoy the panoramic views before you have free time for shopping traditional handicrafts made of obsidian, which was considered as a magical and sacred stone related to the fire element because of its volcanic origin. Then return to the city, stopping at the famous Guadalupe shrine, which houses the cloak containing the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The 1709 shrine was built near the hill of Tepeyac, where the Virgin Mary is believed to have appeared to Saint Juan Diego Cuauhtlatoatzin. The shrine’s structure which now contains Diego's cloak was completed in 1974. This site is also known as La Villa de Guadalupe and it has several churches and related buildings. After visiting the shrine, return to the hotel. Overnight in Mexico City hotel on a bed-and-breakfast basis.

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out of your hotel and transfer to the Mexico City International Airport for your departure flight back home.
