Your Destination —
On Kings Island you are in easy reach of downtown Luxor City with its vibrant souk, the bustling restaurants and cafés, the famous ancient temple of Karnak and other historical sights of Luxor which are a 10 minutes drive from the hotel; and are easily reachable with complimentary shuttle bus service.
Kings Island is connected with the mainland by a private two-way bridge. The low levels of traffic to and from the island have made the area popular with pedestrians and bird watchers who enjoy the natural surroundings for wildlife observation, or a stroll around the island, all in a perfect setting.
Luxor
Situated in the Nile Valley, 670 miles south of Cairo, this breathtaking city offers a compelling mix of the past through to the present. Comprising three main areas, there is much to see in the bustling city centre, the north-easterly village of Karnak and the numerous ancient remains of Thebes, located on the West bank of the River Nile.
With an abundance of ancient ruins, historical monuments and the natural beauty of the area, Luxor has been a major tourist attraction for many decades, and was a popular destination even before world tourism was established in the 1970s. The city continues to be immensely popular with the dedicated Egyptologists and travellers with an interest in history, and of course with the holidaymakers yearning to try the "Indiana Jones" experience.
Optional Excursion —
This optional excursion can be added at the next stage of the booking process for an additional fee.
You will be taken by motor boat across the Nile to meet your Hot Air Balloon Crew and given a brief Safety talk before alighting your Hot Air Balloon for the opportunity to view ancient Luxor from the skies whilst enjoying the unique experience of sunrise from a Hot Air Balloon.
Balloon ride last approximately 30-40 minutes and will be on any day. You will be picked up at approximately 5am from the cruise ship, and returned at approximately 8am - transfers included. Only suitable for those fit and able bodies and without walking aids.

La Fleur Restaurant – La Fleur Restaurant serves up the best of French gastronomic cuisine, from delicious appetisers and main courses to creative and delectable desserts.
