Your Cruise Itinerary —

Day 1: Luxor (Monday)
Welcome to Luxor! Your tour begins when you are greeted by our representative who will assist you on board your floating hotel for your next 8 days. Check in after 12 pm then enjoy lunch, afternoon tea and dinner on board, while making the most of the facilities of your ship. Overnight in Luxor. 

Day 2: Luxor / Esna/ Edfu (Tuesday)
After breakfast, it is time to visit the West Bank of Luxor: the tombs of the New Kingdom Pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings; the magnificent temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahri. Following this, you will sail to Edfu via Esna. Enjoy lunch on board. Later in the day, you will be welcomed to the ship with the Captain's Welcome Cocktail Party, with dinner on board following. Overnight in Edfu. 
Day 3: Edfu / Kom Ombo / Aswan (Wednesday)
After breakfast on board, you will start with a visit Edfu, the home of the best-preserved temple in Egypt: the Temple of Horus. After your visit to this superb temple, you will be taken back to the boat before it departs to Kom Ombo. Lunch and dinner will be served as the boat sails majestically towards Aswan where the cruise will be docked for the next days' visits. This evening, enjoy a Galabeya Party!

Day 4: Aswan (Thursday)
After breakfast, you will start with a visit to Aswan. You will be driven to see the High Dam, the world ’s largest rock-filled dam, and then a short sail to the Temple of Philae which was moved to the island of Agilika after the waters of Lake Nasser flooded its original location. It is then back to the boat for your lunch. This afternoon,  it is time to sail by felucca to see the Mausoleum of Aga Khan and Kitchener Island. The rest of the day is free until dinner this evening, and a Nubian Folkloric show.
Day 5: Aswan (Friday)
After breakfast, you have the whole day free at leisure for you to explore your surroundings or make the most of the boats fantastic facilities. Lunch and dinner will be on board your ship in Aswan. 

Day 6: Aswan / Kom Ombo / Esna / Luxor (Saturday)
While you are having breakfast the boat sets sail, this time downstream, for Kom Ombo once again. Today you can visit the temple early in the morning before the boat heads off to Esna. After lunch, you will cross the locks at Esna, once again, as the boat heads back to Luxor. Dinner will be served on board follwed by a Galabeya Party. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 7: Luxor (Sunday)
After an early breakfast, it is time to visit the magnificent Karnak and Luxor Temples. Once your visit to these ancient temples is complete, you will return to the boat for your lunch. Spend the rest of the day at leisure and then you can enjoy your dinner as the Nile laps gently underneath you followed by a show with belly dancers. Overnight in Luxor. 

Day 8: Departure (Monday)
You will have your final breakfast on the boat before you have to check out. You will then be transferred from Luxor to the airport for your return flight home.

British passport holders travelling to Egypt normally need a visa.


You can get a visa online at Visa2Egypt. Tourist visas granted using the e-visa system are valid for a maximum of 3 months. Although it’s still possible to get a tourist visa on arrival, it’s better to get one before you travel.


You can get a visa on arrival by payment in Sterling, US Dollars or Euros; the visa fee is US$25 at approved bank kiosks within airport arrival halls, before reaching immigration counters. 


You may also get a visa from an Egyptian Consulate outside of Egypt before you travel. For further information and enquiries, contact the Egyptian Consulate in London.
