Cairo - Aswan
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN CAIRO
- Arrive in Cairo and transfer to your hotel.
- The Egyptian capital is one of the largest metropolises in the world, stretching across both banks of the Nile.
- Take time to explore the immediate area or enjoy relaxing at the hotel.

DAY 2: PYRAMIDS OF GIZA AND SAKKARAH
- Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, before departing for the plateau of Giza and its incredible pyramids.
- The Pyramid of Cheops, built around 2650 BC, the largest of the three, is one of the 7 wonders of antiquity and the one best preserved. The pyramid of Chephren and that of Mykerinos, are also well worth a visit.
- Stop to contemplate the Sphinx, a pharaoh-headed lion that defended the entrance to the tomb from looters.
- Enjoy lunch (drinks not included) near the pyramids.
- The afternoon is dedicated to visiting the sites of Memphis and Sakkara.

DAY 3: CAIRO - ASWAN - TEMPLE OF PHILAE
- Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, before taking your transfer to the airport and boarding your domestic flight to Aswan.
- On arrival, transfer directly from the airport to the port, where you'll soon embark on your Nile cruise.
- Once well settled in your cabin, depart for a visit to the Temple of Philae, an ancient island dedicated entirely to Isis that was completely submerged, with the result that the temple was rebuilt on the neighbouring island, some 400 yards away.
- Enjoy lunch (excluding drinks) onboard your cruise vessel.
- Later, depart for a short cruise aboard a feloek, the only means of exploring the left bank of the Nile and the islands of Kitchener or Eléphantine.
- Cruise at a leisurely pace along the blue waters of the ancient Nile and enjoy the view.
- Stop at Kitchener Island and visit the botanical garden.
- Before returning to your cruise vessel., explore a papyrus institute and traditional production techniques.

Aswan - Luxor
DAY 4: ASSOUAN - KOM OMBO
- After breakfast, enjoy some free time to rest or opt to visit Abu Simbel (for an additional charge).
- Enjoy lunch (excluding drinks) on board.
- After lunch, depart on an exploration to Aswan's Little and Big Dam, one of the most impressive in the world, which regulate the flooding of the Nile.
- There will be a photo stop for these ‘pharaonic’ works and the spectacular panorama they offer over the immense Lake Nasser.
- Next, sail to Kom Ombo.
- Isolated on an elevation on the banks of the Nile, it's home to a unique temple dating back to Greco-Roman times, and includes two shrines: one dedicated to Sobek and the other to Horus. Everything about this temple communicates the notion of duality: two entrances, two parallel corridors, and symmetrically placed halls on either side of these corridors, which converge in the double sanctuary.
- Discover the chapel of Hathor which even houses some crocodile mummies.
- Cruise on to Edfou.

DAY 5: EDFOU - ESNA - LUXOR
- After breakfast, revel in some free time to drink in the views or rest up for your next adventure.
- Lunch (excluding drinks) will be served on board.
- Upon arrival in Edfou, visit the magnificent Temple of Horus, a true architectural masterpiece and one of the best-preserved sites of ancient Egypt.
- Enter the temple through the large pylons in the courtyard, whose walls recount the various rituals of the king and gods. Two large black granite falcons (representing the god Horus) guard the temple entrance protectively.

Luxor - Cairo
DAY 6: LUXOR - CAIRO
- Enjoy your breakfast on board, followed by an exploration of the left bank of the Nile.
- Discover the city of Thebes and the Valley of the Kings, home to the tombs of the greatest pharaohs of the XVIIIth to XXth dynasties. From the New Kingdom onwards, pharaohs were no longer buried in colossal monuments, but in caves carved out of the rock, whose access was carefully sealed and hidden.
- Return to your cruise vessel and enjoy lunch on board.
- Take advantage of a photo stop to capture the Colossi of Memnon, two huge sandstone statues testifying to the former splendour of Amenhotep III's temple.
- Visit the unforgettable Temple of Ramses III at Medinet Habu, one of the most spectacular temples of ancient Egypt.
- After visiting Luxor, transfer to the airport and depart for Cairo.
- You'll be met at Cairo Airport and transferred to your hotel.

DAY 7: CAIRO AND THE SOUK OF KHAN EL-KHALILI
