After breakfast, depart around 8:00 am to begin a full day of exploration.Your first stop is the Grand Egyptian Museum, one of the largest archaeological museums in the world. Explore its vast galleries and discover some of Egypt’s most iconic artefacts, including treasures from the reign of Tutankhamun. Continue to the Giza Plateau for lunch, before visiting the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, and standing before the legendary Sphinx.

Alexandria is located around 2.5 to 3 hours by car from Cairo. It is served by Borg El Arab Airport, approximately 45 minutes from the city centre. The best time to visit is from October to April, when temperatures are milder. The local currency is the Egyptian pound (EGP).
