Your Itinerary —

During your tour, you will follow the itinerary as seen below.

Day 1: Cairo - Giza
Upon arrival in Cairo, check-in to your hotel, before visiting the pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx (lunch included). Optional visits (e.g. Sakkara, Coptic Cairo) are bookable on location (for an extra charge). Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Day 2: Cairo
Following breakfast, head to the Egyptian Museum (lunch included). Optional visits (e.g. Sakkara, Coptic Cairo) are bookable on location (for an extra charge). Dinner and overnight in the hotel.
Day 3: Luxor
Following breakfast, enjoy a flight to Luxor. Transfer to your chosen cruise ship and check-in. Dinner and overnight stay on board.

Day 4: Luxor - Edfu
After breakfast, visit the Karnak and Luxor Temples before departing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.

Day 5: Kom Ombo - Aswan
Following breakfast, head to the Kom Ombo Temple and depart to Aswan. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 6: Aswan
Following breakfast, head to the Philae Temple on Agilkia Island. Visit the High Dam in Aswan and enjoy lunch and dinner with an overnight stay on board.

Day 7: Aswan - Abu Simbel - Cairo
Following breakfast, transfer to the airport and fly back to Cairo. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 8: Cairo - Departure
Following breakfast, check-out of the hotel and head to the airport for your return flight home.

The MS Presidential Commodore 5* offers highly comfortable surroundings and good service. Excellent, tasty food is served in the boat’s dining room and a fully-stocked bar is also available. You must ensure you have a valid passport to travel on. 


British passport holders travelling to Egypt normally need a visa.


You can get a visa online at Visa2Egypt. Tourist visas granted using the e-visa system are valid for a maximum of 3 months. Although it’s still possible to get a tourist visa on arrival, it’s better to get one before you travel.


You can get a visa on arrival by payment in Sterling, US Dollars or Euros; the visa fee is US$25 at approved bank kiosks within airport arrival halls, before reaching immigration counters. 


You may also get a visa from an Egyptian Consulate outside of Egypt before you travel. For further information and enquiries, contact the Egyptian Consulate in London.

If vaccinations or other preventive measures are required, you will need to visit your health professional at least 8 weeks before your trip.
