DAY 2 : Porec - Plitvice Lakes - Porec.
Croatia's Plitvice Lakes is a UNESCO listed region of undulating hills, deep, wildlife-filled forests, craggy rocks and 16 blue-green lakes and waterfalls that are a wonder to behold. Today is dedicated to experiencing this natural treasure with a guided sightseeing tour. With an expert guide, delve into this spectacular area, walking its trails and crossing bridges that span its magnificent lakes; capturing its enchanting waterfalls on camera and simply soaking up the wondrous scenery. Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today, your destination is Brijuni National Park. Transfer by bus to Fazana harbour for a memorable boat trip to the Brijuni Islands. Take in these idyllic green islands carpeted in pines, olive groves, pastures and wild meadows grazed by deer and moufon. Next, stop to visit an archaeological museum housed within a 16th century Venetian castle and see the replica frescoes, and exhibitions at the small Gothic Church of St German. Includes Breakfast and Dinner.
Today brings a visit to Pula, one of the oldest towns in Istria, whose history dates back some 3,000 years. After a panoramic drive around Austrian Pula, best known for its Marine Cemetery and Marine Church, stroll through the old city to view its highlights, including stunning Roman relics such as its amphitheatre, walls, triumphal arch and forum, as well as its Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Afterwards, head to Rovinj, considered by many to be Istria's most beautiful town. Brimmed full with colourful Venetian-style houses, this island town boasts the lovely Church of St Euphemia, home to an early 4th century sarcophagus. After your tour, enjoy free time to explore at your own pace, delving into the narrow cobbled streets lined with shops, cafes and eateries. En route back to Porec, look out for Lim Fiord, a beautiful river estuary lined by steep, wooded bank that cries out to be captured on camera. Includes Breakfast and Dinner.

Today is dedicated to the awe-inspiring natural beauty of this verdant slice of Europe. Your first stop is the Postojna Caves in Slovenia, Europe's largest natural cave network. Carved through the millennia by the Pivka River, this subterranean maze boasts chambers, tunnels, passages, galleries and echoing halls glittering with stalactites and stalagmites. After your visit and lunch, enjoy time free for souvenir shopping before continuing to Lipica, a famous centre for horse breeding. Visit Lipica Stud Farm, where the celebrated white Lipizzaner horses are bred for the Spanish Riding School in Vienna. Watch a fabulous horse show and take a guided tour around the stables before your return to Porec. Includes Breakfast and Dinner.
This morning, travel to Motovun, a medieval, walled hill town above the Mirna River in the midst of one of Istria's most fertile regions. Delve into the old quarter and enjoy the wonderful views over the walls down over the river, whose banks are coated in vineyards and truffle-filled woodlands. Admire the 13th century Gothic bell tower next to the 17th century St Stephen church and a handsome a Romanesque palace in the main town square. Next, visit the elegant town of Opatija, sitting on Croatia's Opatija Riviera. Admire this lovely resort, which lines a seven-mile promenade and is filled with ornate villas, gardens and cafes. Your final stop today is at Moscenice, a medieval fortified village that was once settle by the Illyrian tribe of Liburnia, which lends the region its name. Visit a fascinating museum on Mount Ucka and enjoy a tour of the Moscenice old town and the legendary olive oil press that is now a symbol of the town. If you wish, choose an optional visit to the village of Pican to sample some of the region's wines, olive oils and other produce before heading back to Porec. Includes Breakfast and Dinner.
