Fans of architecture can view the iron and bronze gates which guard the entrances to the palace, and this will act as the perfect starting point for your walk around this magical site.
And don't forget about the Cathedral of St Domnius. This huge building is octagonal, and has many columns depicting the Emperor Diocletian. Take advantage of the cathedral's free entry for visitors and see the Temple of Jupiter, including the crypt as part of the deal. Hotel location close to beach, restaurants and marina. Split Old Town was a pleasant 30-40 min walk along the seafronts or 10 min taxi drive. Spa relaxation area and indoor pool fantastic. Hotel staff very polite and helpful.

Rooms with balcony sea view: sunset in the axis of the room! Spacious and comfortable room, XL bed. The top hotel services: spa, gym, catering. Luxury hotel with all the services comfort. An ideal geographical location to visit Biokovo, Split, Dubrovnik, Makarska. Our period in April allowed us to discover the region without rush or heat (temperature of spring 22 °), and there were not too many people at the spa or by the pool, it was great !

Very good value for money ! We had a great vacation! The only downside is that the hotel is a bit far from Split but it is possible to go there by bus! To do so: go to the GetByBus site, book the day and time, pay online (€ 7 / person one way VS € 100 for the taxi) and receive a QR Code to present to the controller by email. The bus stop is 5 minutes from the hotel, next to the gas station.
