A former post house, run by the same family since 1937, the Hotel Gasthof Post features antique furniture, hand-painted woodwork and charming tiled stoves. A large, impressive farmhouse with thick walls has become a small luxury hotel, while its original charm has remained. The rooms in the Post are all individual and each has its own history. The Post-Café serves lunch, afternoon coffee and the famous home-made strudels. In the Zirbel lounge you can enjoy a tasty dinner. The bar is a popular meeting place from après ski to midnight.

There are direct flights to Innsbruck which is closer (115km, 1hr 30 mins) but we have included flights to Zurich, which although further away, offers a much wider choice for travel options to reach the region
