10-Night Tour

Day 1: Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City
Arriving at airport, you will be met at the airport by an English-speaking guide and transfer to the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Free time after checking in hotel (Note: check-in time is 2:00 p.m.) Welcome dinner in a restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh visits - Mekong Delta / Ben Tre - Cao Dai Temple
After breakfast, you will visit the Reunification Palace, former residence of the Indochina Governor General and later President of the Republic of Southern Vietnam until the fall of Saigon in April 30, 1975. The tour finishes with Notre Dame Cathedral and the bustling Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. Lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon, you leave for Ben Tre. Check in at the hotel in Ben Tre. And then you will be taken to a very beautiful and large Cao Dai temple and you will witness the fantastic mass in the afternoon from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., here you hardly see any tourists. Return to your hotel for overnight. Overnight in Ben Tre.
Day 3: Ben Tre - Can Tho 
After breakfast, departure for the Mekong Delta, arrival at Hùng Vuong port (village of Ben Tre). Boat trip on the Ben Tre river, one of the tributaries of the Mekong river to discover the commercial and craft activities that mix with it. Visit a handmade brick factory, the printing and baking of which is always done in a traditional style. Visit to coconut processing workshops located along the canal. Visit a family making mats for sleeping and sharing a moment with eating fruit. Departure by bike or Tuk tuk on the shaded paths and along the rice fields and vegetable gardens. Lunch at the restaurant. In the afternoon, take a rowing boat along the stream to the port of Hùng Vuong, then take the car to Can Tho. Overnight at hotel in Can Tho.

Day 4: Can Tho - Floating market - Da Nang - Hoi An 
Breakfast at the hotel. Boarding of the boat at the Ninh Kieu quay to board a motorboat, cruising along Hau River to see the famous Cai Rang floating market. See the beautiful scenery and daily activities of the locals. After visit the market, transfer directly to Can Tho Airport for the flight to Da Nang. On arrival, you will be met by the guide and proceed 40 km further to Hoi An. Check in your hotel and overnight in Hoi An. In the afternoon, free time at your own exploration of town or go to An Bang beach to enjoy the beautiful beach. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 5: Hoi An 
After breakfast, you set off to explore Hoi An by hiking around the city and its marvellous harbor. Follow the narrow streets bordered by houses with Chinese, Japanese, French and European architectures and visit the many tourist sites: the 400-year-old Japanese Bridge, the Phuc Kien meeting room, the local fish market ... The next visit is to home of a craftsman in the old streets. Here you’ll have a brief introduction to the history, shape and color of the lanterns as well as stages of making them. Lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon, you take a bike ride (or by car) to visit the vegetable village of Tra Que and Cam Thanh fishing village, here you will have an opportunity to meet and exchange with the locals to understand better their way of life and their customs. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 6: Hoi An - Hue 
After breakfast, you will travel along one of Vietnam's most scenic highways to Hue (3.5hr). Stop on the way at white sand of Lang Co Beach and the top of Hai Van Pass. Lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon, you will visit tomb of Tu Duc, the ‘poet Emperor’, set in an elegant garden with a magnificent lake and pavilion complex. And then continue visiting to the Dong Ba market - local market where all kinds of items from fresh seafood, vegetable, to ready-to-made clothes and beautiful typical Hue conical hats, are sold. Overnight in Hue.
Day 7: Hue visits 
After breakfast at hotel, you will depart for Thanh Toan Village where there is a tile roofed bridge, one of the famous ancient bridges in Vietnam for its old architecture and historical and cultural values. On the way, you will see the rice fields and visit some big temples such as Ngo and Tran Temples. You will visit the Imperial citadel (world cultural heritage) including Hat Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa palace. Lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon, you cruise on the Perfume River to visit the Thien Mu Pagoda "The Heavenly Lady" built on the banks of the Perfume River, it can be recognized from a distance by its octagonal tower. Then you take a bike ride to the village, visit the garden houses which represent a unique style existing only in Hue and you will approach the inhabitants, passing by many temples belonging to the ancestors, recognised as one of the cultural features of Hue. The car will pick you up from the village. Overnight in Hue.

Day 8: Hue - Hanoi 
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival in Hanoi, transfer to your hotel to leave the luggage. Lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon, you will visit the temple of literature (Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam), the Tran Quoc pagoda, the Ngoc Son temple and then a cyclo ride in the city center to see the life of Hanoians. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 9: Hanoi - Ha Long 
Departure at 07:45 - 8:00 from your hotel by bus from the boat company, after 3:30 hours of travel, you will arrive at Ha Long Bay, the world natural heritage of our country. Once there, you will board a beautiful junk to enjoy the welcome lunch and begin your cruise on Ha Long Bay. Dinner on board. In the evening, the night fishing service is available on request. Overnight on board.

Day 10: Ha Long - Hanoi 
In the morning, you will sail through Bai Tu long bay while having breakfast. You will pass by several rocks and islets, the cave of Bo Nau and the fish villages. Disembark around 11:00 am. Transfer to Hanoi. Free time and overnight in Hanoi.

Day 11: Hanoi - Departure 
Breakfast, free time or guided tours of Ha Long Bay on land in optional with Supplement, transfer to the airport for the return flight.

North Vietnam Extension

Day 11: Hanoi - Ba Be 
Your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel around 07:30. You take the road towards Ba Be, located 230 kilometers from Hanoi. On the way, we introduce you to the daily life of the Tay ethnic minority - one of two large ethnic groups in Vietnam after the Viets. You arrive at Ba Be after 6 hours on the road. Homestay lunch. And then, you hike to visit the surrounding ethnic villages. Dinner and overnight in Ba Be.

Day 12: Ba Be visits - Cao Bang 
After breakfast, continuation with the discovery of the national park and the natural reserve of Ba Be, a wild site of great purity with its lake and its mountains sculpted by erosion by boat, along the Nang river. Visit its main points of interest: the gigantic Puong cave, the Dau Dang waterfall. Homestay lunch. In the afternoon, transfer directly to Cao Bang, you arrive in Cao Bang after 4 hours drive. Overnight in Cao Bang.
Day 13: Cao Bang - Ban Gioc waterfalls 
Breakfast at your hotel, arrival at the Ban Gioc waterfalls which delimit the border between Vietnam and China. It will be time to enjoy the view and soak up the sublime atmosphere of the most beautiful waterfall in Vietnam. You visit the falls that descend on the Quay Son River, a beautiful stream of water in jade blue, flowing through a pastoral landscape of rice fields and bamboo groves, surrounded by countless limestone rocks.Return to Cao Bang, you will visit the Ngườm Ngao cave on the way, located 3km from the Ban Gioc waterfall, known for its magnificent limestone formations.Lunch at Cao Bang. Then you visit the central market of Cao Bang and then take a walk around the city to see the life of the locals. Overnight in Cao Bang.

Day 14: Cao Bang - Hanoi
After breakfast, you take the road to Hanoi, a journey of approximately 310 kilometers through rice fields and ethnic villages. Road offering the possibility of enjoying peace and tranquility. You will have the chance to stop in an ethnic village known for its rice production or to take beautiful photos of the mountainous landscapes. Lunch on the road. Arrival in Hanoi towards the end of the day. Free time and overnight in Hanoi
Day 15: Hanoi - Departure (B)Breakfast at your hotel, free time until transfer to the airport for the return flight (Note: Check out time is 12:00 noon).

Entry Requirements 


You must ensure you have a valid passport to travel on. 


Until 30 June 2021, ‘British Citizen’ passport holders travelling for tourism can enter Vietnam for up to a maximum of 15 days (counting the dates of entry and exit) without a visa. If you have a different type of British nationality – for example ‘British national (overseas)’ you’ll need to get a visa before entering Vietnam. 

For longer durations of 16 to 30 days (for example if you arrive in Vietnam on 23rd August and leave on 7th September), you must get an e-visa online before you travel. The use of an e-visa is limited to certain entry/exit points which you must select at the time of application. E-visas are only applicable to ‘British Citizen’ passport holders.

Dengue fever is prevalent in the summer/wetter months. The majority of cases are in southern Vietnam. You should follow the advice of the National Travel Health Network and Centre and take precautions to avoid being bitten by mosquitoes.


If you’re taking prescription medication into Vietnam, carry it in your hand luggage with a copy of the prescription. If it has a total import value greater than US$100, you should declare it at customs.
