Your Itinerary —
Upon arrival at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, you will be welcomed by your guide and transferred to the city (45 minutes). Transfer to your hotel for check-in.

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (Breakfast Included)
In the morning, you will visit Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, an imposing monument lavishly built using marble and granite situated where he read the Declaration of Independence in 1945 and now holding the embalmed body of "Uncle Ho". You will also visit the "house on stilts". Your next stop, a short walk from the mausoleum, is the One Pillar Pagoda, an 11th-century wooden temple built resting on a single stone pillar emerging from the water, it is designed to resemble a lotus bloom. A prayer here is said to bring fertility and good health. The last visit will be the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first national university, constructed in 1070 by King Ly Nhan Tong to pay tribute to Confucius, academics and scholars. In the afternoon, visit the Museum of Ethnology, which offers a fascinating insight into Vietnam's ethnic minority groups. Later on, you will visit the Old Streets which were named after the specific goods once offered for sale at these places.

Following breakfast at your hotel, you will depart at 7:30 am and drive for 4 and a half hours to Ha Long Bay, the world's natural heritage of Vietnam. On arrival, you will board a beautiful junk and will enjoy a welcome lunch and cruise on Ha Long Bay. You will then go through the islands and islets before having dinner on board. In the evening, a night fishing service is available on request.

In the morning, you will sail through the bay of Bai Tu along while having breakfast. You will pass by several rocks and islets, the Bo Nau cave and the fish villages. After landing around 11:00 - 12:00, you will be transferred to Noi Bai airport in Hanoi for a flight to Da Nang. On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel, where you will enjoy free time to relax. Please Note: The itinerary will be changed to suit the weather and boat availability.

After breakfast, enjoy free time at the resort. In the afternoon, join your guide for a walking tour. Visit the Japanese covered bridge, the Chinese assembly hall, a typical Vietnamese merchant’s house, one of the interesting museums and the local market. There are numerous art galleries, souvenirs and tailor shops where you can get some express made-to-order clothes if you like. The next visit is to home of a craftsman in the old streets. Here you’ll have a brief introduction to the history, shape and colour of the local lanterns as well as an explanation of the stages of making them. After that, you can make a lantern, decorate it, pack it and keep it as a souvenir of your time in Hoi An. After dinner at a riverside restaurant, you will take a traditional boat ride along the Hoai River and experience sailing colourful lanterns off down the river. Your lantern won’t be caught in a traffic jam with other floating lanterns as other tourists experience by sailing them from the river bank, and best of all, you will get to enjoy views of the ancient town on a serene ride. The locals believe that happiness, luck, and love will follow every lantern that sails with a good wish. Return to your resort and enjoy an overnight stay in Hoi An.

After breakfast at your hotel, take a scenic drive from Hoi An to Hue. On your way, you will take a break at the top of the cloudy Hai Van Pass to grab your own Vietnam central coast panoramic view. Enjoy a delicious lunch with Hue specialities at a lush green garden restaurant. After lunch, visit the Imperial Citadel where Kings of Vietnam’s last feudal dynasty ruled from 1802 to 1945, including Flag Tower, Nine Holy Cannons, Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, Nine Dynastic Urns, Forbidden Purple City, etc. Next, transfer to the boat landing for a leisure boat trip along the Perfume River to visit the towering Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the most famous landmarks in Hue. You will then continue your boat trip to visit the King Minh Mang Tomb that is located on the left bank of the Huong River, which represents the perfect harmony between nature and architecture. Minh Mang King (1821–1840) boasted to have 64 princesses and 78 princes. Admire the beautiful landscapes and the sunset on the way to the Vedanā Lagoon Resort & Spa 5*. In the morning, meet your driver and enjoy a transfer to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. You will be welcomed by your guide and driven to the Northwest of the city to the Cu Chi tunnels, through urbanised areas and typically lush southern Vietnamese countryside. The tunnel complex was dug in 1948 for the guerrillas to hide from French air and ground sweeps. It was also served as communication routes and food and weapon caches as well as hospitals and living quarters for guerrilla fighters throughout the American war. Visit the underground villages to better understand the tunnels’ history, life in the tunnels and the Vietnamese’s resilience during the combat.

Your tour will start with a drive out to the town of Ben Tre, situated in the heart of the Mekong Delta. This will be a very interesting day with a local touch, where you will see many of the highlights of the Mekong Delta. This delta is Vietnam's biggest rice bowls with all three rice crops per year and is the major contributor to Vietnam and other countries' food basket. After arriving in Ben Tre, you will board a private boat. Here, you will get a tour around the small islands of lush orchards, running on small channels and watching daily life pass slowly. Get off the boat and walk along the river bank, soaking up an authentic view of local life. Stop by one of the many family businesses and take a local tuk-tuk (or bicycle) around the remote village, stopping to sample tropical fruits. Eat lunch at a restaurant in the heart of the delta, sampling regional specialties such as the famous Elephant Ear fish. Afterwards, paddle in sampans (small rowing boats) past water coconut trees along the Mekong and then board the cruise in the Delta's major waterways to head back to Ben Tre pier. End you cruise and drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.
