Your Itinerary —

During their tour, our members will follow the itinerary as seen below.

Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi
After a long flight, you will arrive in the thousand-year-old city of Hanoi. Your driver will transfer you to your hotel in the city centre. Spend the rest of the day at leisure and enjoy an overnight stay in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi - Free Time (Breakfast Included)
After breakfast, enjoy a full day of free time to relax on your own or add on one of the optional excursions listed below. Overnight stay in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi - Ninh Binh - Free Time (Breakfast Included)
After breakfast at your hotel, check-out at 08.30 am and take the road to Ninh Binh (Ha Long Bay on Land). You'll arrive in Ninh Binh after 2 hours’ drive. Our suggestion: Upon arrival in Ninh Binh, visit the Temple of King Dinh and Le (entrance fee is on your own expense). After that, the driver will bring you to a local restaurant where you will have lunch on your own. In the afternoon, the driver will take you to Hai Nham pier where you can buy tickets for a rowing boat ride to visit the caves. This boat trip will last for about 2 hours. Return to hotel to check-in and relax. If the weather permits, you could rent a bike from your hotel (at 2.5US$/bike/4 hours) and pedal around to contemplate the peaceful countryside. Overnight stay in Ninh Binh.
Day 4: Ninh Binh - Ha Long Bay (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included)
After breakfast at your hotel. depart at 7:30 from your hotel, and after 4.5 hours of travel, you will arrive at Ha Long Bay, the world's natural heritage of Vietnam. On arrival, you will embark on a beautiful junk boat to enjoy a welcome lunch and a cruise on Ha Long Bay. You will then go through the islands and islets. Dinner on board. In the evening, a night fishing service is available on request. Night on board in Ha Long Bay.

Day 5: Ha Long Bay - Hanoi or Hai Phong - Da Nang - Hoi An (Brunch Included)
In the morning, you will sail through the bay of Bai Tu along while having breakfast. You will pass by several rocks and islets, the Bo Nau cave and the fish villages. Landing around 11:00 - 12:00. Transfer directly to Noi Bai airport, Hanoi or Cat Bi airport, Hai Phong to take the domestic flight to Da Nang. On arrival, transfer to your hotel in Hoi An. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 6: Hoi An - Free Time (Breakfast Included)

After breakfast, enjoy free time at the pool or beach to relax and soak up the sun. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 8: Hoi An - Hue (Breakfast Included)
After breakfast, enjoy free time to relax. In the afternoon, you will be driven to Hue. On the way to Hue, you will cross the Hai Van Pass which offers at its summit a superb panorama of the central coastline and the beach of Lang Co – one of the most beautiful beaches of Vietnam. Upon arrival in Hue, check-in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Hue.

Day 9: Hue - Free Time (Breakfast Included)
After breakfast, enjoy free time at leisure or opt to add the excursion detailed below). Overnight in Hue.
Day 10: Hue - Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast Included)
After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a transfer (no guide) to the airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh. On arrival, your driver will pick you up and drive you to the hotel to leave luggage in the room (rooms are available from 14:00). Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 11: Ho Chi Minh City - Free at Leisure (Breakfast Included)
After breakfast, enjoy free time on your own or opt to add the optional excursion detailed below. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City - Departure
After breakfast, enjoy free time until you transfer to the airport for your return flight home.

After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy free time to relax until your check-out time. At 12.00, your driver will transfer you to Ho Tram beach. You will arrive at your hotel after 2.5 hours’ ride. Enjoy free time to relax and take advantage of the pool and the beach. Overnight in Ho Tram.

Day 13 & 14: Ho Tram (Breakfast Included)
After breakfast, enjoy free time and the facilities of your hotel. Overnight in Ho Tram.

Day 15: Ho Tram - Ho Chi Minh City - Departure (Breakfast Included)

Your Optional Excursions
At 08.00 am, your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel, to drive you to Duong Lam village. This is a small village remaining in Hanoi, a purely agricultural village in the north of the Red River Delta where several hundred-year-old houses still survive. Take a walk around the village to discover the daily life and work of Vietnamese peasants on the fields with a break in two ancient houses: the largest dating back more than 200 years and the oldest dating back more than 400 years.

You will also visit Ngo Quyen Temple and Phung Hung Temple, dedicated to two national heroes Ngo Quyen and Phung Hung and then Mia Pagoda (one of the most beautiful pagodas of Viet Nam), is built in the 15th century and admire 287 statues of all the sizes, within which are the famous sculptures like the statue of Buddha in the Himalayas and the statues of the Eight Vajra deities. Homestay lunch. In the afternoon, return to Hanoi and you will visit the Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake, and the Old Quarters. Before returning to hotel to relax, experience the daily life of the Hanoians with an hour on cyclo around the Old Quarters area. End of excursion.

My Son Sanctuary & Hoi An Villages (lunch included - available on Day 6)

At 08.30, your guide will pick you up to visit the My Son Sanctuary, the holy land of the Champa Kingdom .Upon arrival, you will visit a group of ruined Hindu temple ruins and remains in the My Son Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.Lunch in a local restaurant .In the afternoon, take a bike ride through beautiful villages of Hoi An to learn about local life. After that, enjoy a basket boat ride on the river. Return to hotel. End of excursion.

Hue City Highlights (lunch included - available on Day 9)

At 08.30 take the road to visit the Thanh Toan Covered bridge, a local market and a surrounding village. Returning to the city centre, you will visit the Imperial Citadel (World Cultural Heritage) including Hat Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, and Thai Hoa Palace...Lunch in a local restaurant.In the afternoon, take a cruise on the Perfume River to visit the Thien Mu Pagoda, Tombs of King Minh Mang (oriental style decoration). Return to hotel. End of excursion. 

Mekong Delta / Ben Tre (lunch included - available on Day 11)

Your Optional Excursions
Start at 08.00. After around 2.5-hours-drive from busting Saigon, we arrive Ben Tre. You then board on cruise, a new boat with design open on all sides to allow the river breezes to flow freely. As meandering down the Mekong, you'll have a chance to observe from the comfort of your cruise as it plays out on the riverbanks: the people, the stunning landscapes while your attentive crew serves cold drink and seasonal fruit.See how local peel off coconut husk by simple tools. Next is a tuk-tuk ride taking you to a local family making coconut-leaves-swobs. Meet our friendly host, gain an insight into local traditional methods to make a swob. Hands-on and have fun experiences.

Continue with a relaxing bike ride on the lush and ever green rural road. Cycle through peaceful villages, meet friendly & smiling locals saying hello and feel the tranquil scenes of rural life. Next is a rowing boat through the crisscross canals. Be relaxed while observing the slow pace of Mekong Delta life. You then have a short walk on the narrow village lane to Mr. Ba’s family. His hospitable greetings and tasty local cake will make you feel that being at home. His family member is happy to share you the local cake making procedure.

Join them, try to make one local cake on your own under their enthusiastic instruction. Enjoy tea with honey and dried coconut while chatting with them about their daily routine, the local culture, custom and why you don’t let a local fortune-teller tell you what is supposed to happen in the future. Lunch is served with Mekong specialties at riverside restaurant. Relax, enjoy the tranquil atmosphere before transferring to the pier where the waiting driver will take you, then transfer by road back to Saigon.  End of excursion.

Dengue fever is prevalent in the summer/wetter months. The majority of cases are in southern Vietnam. You should follow the advice of the National Travel Health Network and Centre and take precautions to avoid being bitten by mosquitoes.


If you’re taking prescription medication into Vietnam, carry it in your hand luggage with a copy of the prescription. If it has a total import value greater than US$100, you should declare it at customs.
