Your Itinerary —
Day 1: Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City
Fly into Ho Chi Minh City where you will be met by your driver and transfer to your first hotel.
Overnight in Ho Chi Ninh with breakfast included.
Today you will enjoy breakfast at the hotel before being picked up and driven approx. 2 hours 30 minutes to the Ben Tre. You then board an Apricot cruise, a new boat whose open design allows the river breezes to flow freely as you slowly make your way down the Mekong Delta and observe the stunning landscapes. A cold drink and seasonal fruit are available onboard. Your river cruise will culminate with a visit to a coconut factory.
Return to the boat and continue to your next destination where you will see how to peel a coconut. Next is a tuk-tuk ride to a local family making coconut-leaves-swobs. Meet our friendly host, gain insight into local traditional methods to make a swob. This will be followed by a hands-on experience.
Continue with a relaxing bike ride through lush scenery. Your route will take you through peaceful villages as you make your way to a rowing boat...perfect for experience the slow pace of Mekong Delta life. You then have a short walk on the narrow village lane to Mr Ba’s family where you will learn how to make a local cake and enjoy tea with honey and dried coconut while chatting with them about the local culture. Lunch will be served with Mekong specialities at Apricot Riverside Restaurant. Relax and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere before transferring to the pier where your driver is waiting to take you back to Ho Chi Minh City.

After breakfast, check-out of your hotel and embark on a tour of Ho Chi Minh city that will take you to highlights such as Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, the colonial districts and Ben Thanh market. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant.
Continue to explore the city in the afternoon when you will experience Cho Lon Chinatown, Thien Hau Pagoda and War Museum.
Afterwards, transfer to the airport for your flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel to check-in and relax.

The day starts with a visit to the complex dedicated to Ho Chi Minh – the nation’s founder - which includes Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum. This complex also comprises the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of the city.
Afterwards, visit Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam (The Temple of Literature & Vietnam’s first university) which was constructed in the 11th century. pend some time in the university's gardens and admire the well-preserved architecture, both of which offer a glimpse into Vietnam's past.
After lunch in a local restaurant, visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology which offers an insight into the 54 different ethnic groups of Vietnam. Then discover the daily life of the Hanoians with a 45 minute rickshaw ride around the Old Quarter's streets before heading back to the hotel.

After breakfast, embark on a 2 hour 30 minute drive to Ninh Binh (which is also known as ‘Ha Long Bay on land’). Upon arrival, visit the Bich Dong Pagoda, the embroidery village and then, if the weather permits, the temples of King Dinh and Le which are surrounded by beautiful green gardens with basins with lotus flowers and frangipani spreading a delicate fragrance.
Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant then check into your hotel. The afternoon will be devoted to exploring nature with a pleasant bike ride through Ninh Binh's incomparable countryside and a traditional boat trip through Van Long Nature Reserve. This 2 hour boat trip allows you to enjoy a moment of peace with karstic rocks emerging from the water and wildlife all around you. Far from the hustle cities, you will feel calm among nature with birds, waters, limestone rocks, and plants.

Check out of your hotel around 7.30 am and depart for Ha Long Bay – the UNESCO World Natural Heritage – where thousands of spectacular limestone islets and grottoes rise from the clear emerald Gulf of Tonkin. Upon arrival, board the boat where you will be welcomed by a drink.
Feast on a lunch of fresh seafood while the boat is cruising through innumerable stone islets, floating villages and small beaches. Visit a floating fishing village after lunch prior to some free time which can be spent swimming in the srytallin waters or on the boat's sundeck.

Day 7: Transfer back to Hanoi
Enjoy brunch while you cruise to Bai Tu Long Bay where you will disembark around 11 am. Travel back to Hanoi and visit But Thap Temple en route if the weather permits. The rest of the day will be free to do as you please.

Day 8: Flight to Luann Prabang
The morning will be free to do as you please before you are transferred to the airport in time for your light ti Luang Prabang. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your final hotel.

Start your day with a visit to the National Museum (closed Tuesdays) which is within the former Royal Palace. You will have the chance to visit a fascinating collection of artefacts which reflect the richness of Lao culture.
Visit Wat Mai: one of the city's most sumptuous monasteries which is famous for its roofed front veranda features a detailed golden relief depicting scenes from village life, the Ramayana and Buddha's penultimate birth.
Visit Wat Vi Soun: an 1898 reconstruction from Laporte's sketches built following the Black Flag raids, pirates from southern China.
Visit Wat Aham: a small Buddhist temple located near the Nam Khan River. Afterwards, enjoy lunch in a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, enjoy a short visit to admire the Wat Sene - the oldest temple in the city - then the magnificent Wat Xiengthong which is an icon among Luang Prabang’s plethora of Buddhist temples thanks to its unique roof that descends down almost to the ground.
After that, climb to the summit of Mount Phousi for and explore its sacred, gilded stupa as well as a memorable sunset over the city and the Mekong River beyond. From there, you will explore a night street market which is a great place to find handmade textiles from local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang.

After breakfast, enjoy a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives you a panoramic view of the tranquil countryside. Today you will visit the mysterious Pak Ou Caves: two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of varying shapes and sizes left by pilgrims. Along the way, you will stop at the small village of Ban Xanghai, where the local rice wine is distilled.
Afterwards, you will visit Ban Phanom, a small village well known for its hand weaving before returning to Luang Prabang. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
Continue to visit Kuang Si Waterfall where you can take a dip in the inviting pools or walk along the lush forest trails which surround the waterfall. Return to Luang Prabang by late afternoon.

Day 11: Departure
Today will be free to do as you please before you are transferred to the airport in time for you flight home.
