Your Itinerary —
During their tour, our members will follow the itinerary as seen below.
After a long flight, you will arrive in the thousand-year-old city of Hanoi. Your driver will transfer you from Noi Bai Airport to your hotel in the city centre. Spend the rest of the day at leisure and enjoy an overnight stay in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi (Breakfast/Lunch Included)
After breakfast, the day will start with a visit to the complex dedicated to Ho Chi Minh - the nation’s founder, containing Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (viewed from outside on Mondays, Fridays and every afternoons due to closure), and the house on stilts, One Pillar Pagoda. Next up, visit Tran Quoc Pagoda - Hanoi’s oldest pagoda on the bank of West Lake & Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university which was constructed in the 11th century. Then, head back to your hotel and enjoy free time for lunch at your own expense.
Following lunch at a local restaurant, the afternoon will be spent with a visit to Vietnam Museum of Ethnology (closed every Monday), which offers an insight into the 54 different ethnic groups of Vietnam. Then transfer to the Old Quarters and visit the Saint Joseph Cathedral, the oldest church in Hanoi and Vietnam. Overnight in Hanoi.
After breakfast, check-out and meet your guide for a transfer to Ha Nam which located 70km to the south of Hanoi. Arriving after about 1:30, visit a local village to meet friendly villagers and see how locals make rice noodles and patties. This village has yet to be known by mass tourism. Enjoy a light lunch with their local product, rice noodles and patties. In the afternoon, transfer to Ninh Binh (1 hour 30 minutes). Upon arrival, take a bike ride to see the local life. Overnight in Ninh Binh.
Day 4: Ninh Binh – Ha Long Bay (Breakfast/Lunch Included)
After breakfast, transfer to the pier where you will take a rowing boat ride to Thien Ha Cave, which was discovered in 2007, after a long time hiding by an entrance covered in plantations. Located in the general mountains, Thien Ha is about 200 metres high above the sea level, where the outpost once protected Hoa Lu city, the former citadel. Firstly, visit the dry cave (200m long & 40m wide) with variety of stalactites in different colours. After that, visit the wet cellar and contemplate the unique Milky Way located in the heart of the beautiful mountain. Lunch will be in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, take the road to Ha Long Bay. You will arrive at your hotel at the end of the day. Check-in, relax and enjoy free time at leisure. Overnight in Ha Long.
After breakfast at your hotel before the guide and driver pick you up and bring you to see Ha Long city and stop to visit a local market. You continue the road to the pier. Upon arrival, you will embark a beautiful boat for a cruise around the bay with a delicious local seafood lunch served on board. Passing many rocks and islets in variety shapes and enjoy other activities during the cruise. Enjoy a dinner on board. In the evening, enjoy the night fishing (if weather permits) and later, overnight on board.
Day 6: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi – Fly to Hue (Breakfast/Brunch Included)
In the morning, brunch will be served while cruising further to the bay, passing by several rocks, islets and fishing villages, then moving toward Ha Long City for disembarking around 11 a.m. After that, transfer directly to Noi Bai airport in Hanoi for your flight to Hue. Upon arrival at Phu Bai airport, transfer to hotel to check-in and relax. Be free for the remainder of the day. Overnight in Hue.

Breakfast at your hotel then visit the Thanh Toan Covered Bridge, a local market and the surroundings of this authentic village. After that, transfer to explore the Imperial Citadel (World Cultural Heritage) including Hat Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, Palace of Thai Hoa. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, continue your trip to Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the most famous landmarks of Hue. Afterwards, stop at King Tu Duc Tomb before your last stop at Dong Ba market. Return back to hotel to relax. Overnight in Hue.
Day 8: Hue - Hoi An (Breakfast Included)
After breakfast, you will proceed along one of Vietnam most scenic highways to Hoi An. When crossing the Hai Van pass, you will have a chance to contemplate the beach of Lang Co – one of the most beautiful beaches of Vietnam and a superb panorama of the central coastline. Stop to visit Ngu Hanh Son (Marble Mountain) which has five colours that correspond to the five mountains: pink marble for Thuy Son, white marble for Moc Son, red marble for Hoa Son, marble water color for Kim Son and brown marble for Tho Son. Continue the road and you will arrive in Hoi An after 3 hour ride. Check-in your hotel and rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Hoi An.
Breakfast at your hotel before you ride quietly in peaceful villages, cross coconut forests and rice fields. Stop at any time to interact with locals as you wish or fill in your memory map of Hoi An's landscapes. Then you will go for a basket boat trip on the river which allows you to observe the activities of the locals or understand how to row the round bamboo boat before arriving at the restaurant located in the rice field. Your discovery is continued with the Banh Xeo cooking demonstration (Vietnamese pancakes). You will enjoy a delicious meal with Vietnamese dishes.
In the afternoon, discover real life in Hoi An by walking around this enchanting port city. Follow the narrow streets lined with centuries-old houses influenced by Chinese, Japanese, French and European architectures to visit its many sights: the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, the Phuc Kien Meeting Rooms (Fujian Shrine), the Colonial Homes of rich merchants (Tan Ky), Truc Thanh pagoda, and Chua Ong pagoda, the local fish market. Then, arrive at the house of a craftsman in the ancient streets, have a brief introduction of history, form and the colour of the lanterns, and the several stages of their elaboration. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 10: Hoi An - Departure (Breakfast Included)
After breakfast, enjoy free time on your own until you transfer to airport in a good time for a flight to Hanoi, then your departure flight.

Our members may choose offer 2 for an extension in cultural Siem Reap. This means that the tour will commence in Siem Reap for 3 days after finishing the itinerary as above.
Day 11: Siem Reap – Angkor temples (Breakfast/Lunch Included)
- The ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century)
You will continue to visit the fabulous Ta Prohm embraced by the roots of huge trees and gigantic creepers and have lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will visit the famous temple: Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat is a World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendour. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology. Head back to hotel to relax. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Angkor Wat – Angkor Thom – Preah Khan temple (B)
Breakfast at your hotel before you leave behind the crowd of Siem Reap and head to a nearby peaceful village. You will walk in the village to meet nice people who weave rattan baskets, vegetables. Then you visit a local house to learn more about Khmer tradition and culture, as well as about their daily life. With the help of your host, you prepare Cambodian dishes and have lunch with the dishes you have prepared. Share fun moments together.
In the afternoon, transfer to the floating village of Kampong Kleang, located to the east of Siem Reap, and one of the largest floating villages on Tonle Sap. Kompong Khleang is a permanent community within the flood plain of the Lake, with an economy based in fishing and surrounded by flooded forest. The community largely depends on fishing for survival all year round. Take a hiking trip in the village to meet the shy and friendly locals then a traditional boat ride on the canals. Return to hotel to relax. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Please note: The boat ride on the Tonle Sap is not recommended during the dry season (March to July) due to lack of water. During this period, the visit of Floating Village will be replaced by visits to the Silk Farm. In the afternoon, you will visit the central market. Continue to visit the Silk Farm founded by an NGO in Puok with the purpose of reliving the Cambodian silk productions. Continuing to visit Les Chantiers Ecole – a craft centre located in the centre of the city (depends It is founded in 1992 and its mission is to revive the ancient art of the Khmers. Once to arrive there, you will have the opportunity to see the young people learn sculpture of wooden works, weaving, and stone carving.
Day 13: Siem Reap - Departure (Breakfast Included)
Breakfast at your hotel then free until you transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
