Your Destinations —
Hanoi
Year-on-year, Vietnam is becoming a more popular holiday destination as people start to discover all that this beautiful and fascinating country has to offer.
The attraction of a holiday to Vietnam is evident when you consider its unique cultural and historical heritage set in an unspoilt, diverse and engaging landscape.
Whilst Vietnam is an extraordinary country to explore, an increasing number of tourists are going simply to relax; with over 3,000 km of coastline, stunning white sand beaches and a number of luxury resorts.
Siem Reap
A bustling resort town in northwestern Cambodia, Siem Reap has been beckoning travellers for decades, in part thanks to its proximity to breathtaking Angkor, once the capital city of the Khmer Empire. However, crowds are still drawn to the city centre, which boasts a mix of French colonial and Chinese architecture, as well as lively restaurants, popular backpacking hotels, and local markets.
No trip to the city would be complete without exploring the ruins of Angkor, a historic city that thrived between the 9th and 15th centuries. Now a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, visitors can wander among the decorative sandstone buildings, which number over one thousand! The most famous of all sights at Angkor is Angkor Wat, an immense temple and the largest religious monument in the world. If you can, catch a sunrise or sunset at the temple, before returning to Siem Reap to explore its street food scene - make sure to try the classic sour fish soup, and brace yourself for a sip of the traditional rice wine!
Bangkok
The colourful and exhilarating capital city of Thailand, Bangkok is an exotic sight to behold for any traveller, whether you frequent the city, or this is your first visit. With a hectic mix of cosmopolitan modernity and old-world charm, Bangkok offers an immersive stay in Thailand.
Dotted with a staggering 400 Buddhist temples, embrace the culture of the city as you walk side by side with saffron-robed monks, and then be amazed by the revered Grand Palace and grandeur of Wat Phra Kaew (Royal Temple). Take a cruise down the Chao Phraya River and watch the hustle and bustle of everyday like or escape the crowds and venture to the back streets of the old Portuguese quarter.
Foodies will be enthralled by the flavourful cuisine served at Yaowarat Street (China Town) and Sukhumvit Soi 38, but none compares to Khao San Road - Bangkok's infamous backpacker strip, but a must for local cuisine, cheap drinks and lots of souvenirs. If you have the time, visit Bangkok's only Michelin-Star street food restaurant and see Raan Jay Fai at work! For those who love to shop, the legendary MBK Centre shopping mall is busy with tourists and locals alike. An evening in Sukhumvit is not to be missed and with the ease of the BTS Skytrain, you'll be able to venture back and forth between the many districts of the city.
