Car Hire —

Car Hire is with Alamo, pick up at Union Square and drop off at San Francisco Airport.

Please note you cannot be guaranteed a specific make of car within a certain group. A compact 4 door car is offered with exception of months Jan – Mar 2018, when a SUV must be offered for entry into Yosemite.

The minimum age for driving a hire car in United States is 21 and drivers must have held a full driving licence for a least 1 year.

The lead name on the booking will be confirmed as the named driver.  The named driver must present a credit card in their name when collecting the car (credit cards in other names will not be accepted).

The named driver must also present a full valid driving licence on collection of the vehicle and in some cases a credit card or cash deposit will be required.

Please ensure that you check your car hire documents carefully once received as this will advise if there are any taxes/charges to be paid locally as well as potential mileage restrictions.

In all winter months’ it is a legal requirement for all vehicle to carry snow chains when entering Yosemite. However, snow chains are not permitted on rental cars, so it is at the discretion of the hirer whether to use the chains or not. The hirer will be responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle as a direct result of the snow chains. Alamo do not rent snow chains so can be rented from Yosemite Hotels at an additional cost. 

Your Contract —

The flight inclusive offer(s) shown on this page are ATOL Protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Voyage Privé is acting as agent for THG Holidays with ATOL number 9528 and your contract is with that company.

Travel Documents —

Once the booking process is complete, you will receive an automatic confirmation email from Voyage Prive detailing your chosen travel arrangements.

Your official ATOL receipt and booking confirmation issued by the Tour Operator will follow within 5 days.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure. Generally, travel documents are sent via email however, in some cases they will be sent by post.

If you have booked Meet & Greet, you will receive a separate voucher for this via email.

Please do make sure that you add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list and check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents.
