Inside this beautifully-restored Georgian house, 15 luxurious contemporary bedrooms and luscious designer bathrooms – the perfect place for a long lazy weekend break (in a dog-friendly hotel!) or mid-week stay to discover this fascinating county.
At the heart of this hotel though is the restaurant, Forelles. Here you will discover the best of Shropshire dining with the innovative cooking of the bright young head chef, Andrew Birch, and his team, using ingredients sourced from local producers in the Shropshire Marches. With bar meals also available Andrew is sure to have something on the menu for everyone.

Each of Fishmore Hall’s sumptuous bedrooms has been individually styled to make it as comfortable and luxurious as possible. Light and spacious, most have views through huge sash windows across Ludlow and Shropshire's rolling countryside.
Beds are wide, with crisp linen sheets to slip into, and you can even choose your favourite pillow from the pillow menu so you are guaranteed a great night’s sleep.
Bathrooms have huge walk-in showers, double-ended baths, wetrooms and waterfall shower heads, delicious Molton Brown toiletries and the thickest, fluffiest bathrobes and slippers to relax in.
Your room now also features a mini bar full of local goodies for you to enjoy including Radnor Hills Elderflower Pressé, Ludlow Vineyard's cider, Tyrells crisps and a variety of delicious nibbles from the Ludlow Fruit and Nut Company.And they haven’t forgotten the little touches: flat screen TVs with freeview, free wi-fi and wired broadband and proper coffee and teas from Cafe du Monde and Ronnefeldt and homemade biscuits from the chef.

If the aim of the owner and her new head chef was to put some creative, high-quality food back on the menu in Ludlow, they have succeeded. This was recognised recently by the AA too, who awarded the hotel 3 AA rosettes.
This is the domain of Head Chef Andrew Birch, whose enthusiasm and originality shine through in a menu that features the very best local ingredients from producers from all over the Shropshire Marches.
As well as the fine dining experience in the main restaurant Forelles, Fishmore Hall also has a brasserie style menu available for more informal dining.
Please note: the restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday nights - for guests arriving on a Monday, the tasting menu can be taken on Tuesday. For guests arriving on Saturday, the tasting menu can be taken on the Saturday (day of arrival).
