Darwin's Townhouse is a beautifully converted Georgian town house, completely refurbished in 2016 to a cosy, boutique B&B.

With just 20 bedrooms, you can be assured of attentive and personal service, with a real "home from home" feel.

Hotel staff are happy to offer any advice on planning your trip to Shrewsbury and the surrounding area, suggesting local hidden gems.

After sightseeing, sink into one of the comfortable sofas in the Octagon Lounge, which overlooks the pretty garden, or cosy up in The Snug with a drink from the honesty bar.

Shrewsbury train station is 0.5 miles from Darwin's Townhouse.

There is no parking on site but St Julian Friars long stay car park is just around the corner and costs £4 per day (£1 per day on Sundays.)
