Your Destination —
Lake Cruises. Cruises are available within easy reach of Dale Lodge Hotel including Lake Windermere at Waterhead in Ambleside, Ullswater from Glenridding, Coniston and Derwentwater near Keswick.
Walking. There is a plethora of good walking and cycling routes nearby including Dunmail Raise, Helm Crag, Fairfield Horsehoe, Easedale Tarn, Helvellyn and The Langdales to name just a few.
Visitor Attractions. Grasmere offers a number of excellent visitor attractions including Dove Cottage & The Wordsworth Museum, Rydal Mount & Gardens and Heaton Cooper Studio.
Golf. There are also a number of high quality golf clubs nearby including Windermere Golf Club, Kendal Golf Club, Carus Green Golf Club and Keswick Golf Club. The views around Windermere Golf Club are particularly impressive.

Set within the main hotel, the ambiance of The Lodge Restaurant is more of refinement and style, with an extended wine list that offers that little something extra special for the serious wine buff. The sumptuous surroundings, flickering candlelight and personal service makes for a perfect, special evening.
The food is a fusion of traditional Lake District pub food and contemporary European cuisine. There are the old classics such as steak and kidney pudding and fish & chips as well as modern favourites such as our assiette of duck and haddock and leek tartlet. The specials change regularly and often feature dishes such as local cumberland sausage, roasted sea bream and tender duck breast.

There is a rich and varied menu served both lunchtimes and evenings as well as a frequently changing specials board which features local and seasonal produce prepared in an innovative and tempting style.
Tweedies Beer
CAMRA award-winning pub, Tweedies Bar always has a great range of beers on offer with 8 real ale hand pumps and 2 real ciders or perrys on tap. There are beers from all over the UK with local and Scottish breweries being the most prominent.
Try the Beer Bat which features three of the guest beers, handpicked by yourself, in three third of a pint glasses and pay the price of a single pint. This innovation gives you the chance to sample the whole range on offer without the need for the morning cure.
Live Music
Visit Tweedies bar on a Saturday evening and you're sure to be entertained. With live music from local musicians every Saturday and now selected Friday evenings too!
