Your Destination —
The Aspinall Foundation is an internationally renowned animal conservation charity that works in conjunction with Howletts and Port Lympne Wild Animal Parks. Together they are committed to the breeding, reintroduction and protection of rare and endangered species.
Howletts and Port Lympne Wild Animal Parks are different from conventional zoos, the focus is on providing as natural an environment as possible for the animals in their care, to facilitate our successful breeding programmes. The Aspinall Foundation is a charity that relies on support from the general public to fund its back to the wild programme, and vital animal protection projects in Africa, Madagascar and Java, as well as other projects around the world that are protecting some of the world’s most endangered species.
Your Safari —
Just for you: Entrance into Port Lympne Reserve and Howletts Wild Animal Park, ranger led safari to Livingstone Lodge.
You will be met by your ranger on arrival, with a welcome glass of bubbly or Amarula, before going out on your first safari whilst your luggage is taken up your stunning luxury tented safari-style accommodation. Enjoy your own private veranda and soak up the breathtaking views over the African Experience. If you would like a ‘sundowner' there is a fully stocked bar in the Laapa. Later, rejoin your fellow travellers at the communal Laapa for an authentic African-style dinner cooked on an open pit fire, with salads and desserts, followed by tea or coffee. Your Rangers will regale you with their own tales of Africa and tell you about the Aspinall Foundation's vital Conservation work and wildlife programmes.
At or before 11.00pm, retire to the starlight seclusion of your luxury safari tent and private veranda
Day 2
Wake up to the early sounds of the Serengetti. Enjoy your Aspinall full English Breakfast in the Laapa, and then ready yourself for departure from the Lodge. Your cases will be sent ahead to the Livingstone Lodge Reception so that you can enjoy the second shorter Safari.
Embark on the second African Experience safari. Return to the Livingstone Lodge Reception wherethey can hold your suitcases if you want to spend more time in the Park.

The Livingstone Lodge offers an award-winning and unique holiday experience. It is the UK's only overnight safari lodge and allows guests to stay in luxurious tented lodges. There are just ten luxury lodges in the complex ensuring your exciting African-style adventure is also a tranquil one.
