Your Destination —
Located on the stunning Turkish Riviera, in the Aegean Sea, Fethiye is a historic town with a natural harbour. There's a promenade along the waterfront, lined with cafes and restaurants overlooking the beautiful harbour. Once part of the ancient Lycia, visitors can discover ancient ruins and many historic sites such as the incredible Tomb of Amyntas that sits in the limestone cliffs.
Slightly out of Fethiye's old town centre, is the award-winning beach of Ölüdeniz. This incredible beach is surrounded by towering mountains looking over the crystal-clear waters, and to the north side, there is a protected lagoon. Just south, you will find Butterfly Valley that is almost inaccesible by land, but a popular day trip by boat to see the variety of butterfly species that dwell here. Travel inwards to the Saklıkent Canyon, a national park where the canyon reaches 300 metres deep and squeezes to just 2 metres wide at some points.
