Your Destination
Despite consistently ranking among Turkey's most popular beach destinations for holidaying Brits, Bodrum has never failed to retain its ancient charm. Although the town promises sun-kissed beaches, trendy restaurants and clubs, and charming hotels, Bodrum's elegance, history and culture ensure it provides visitors with pockets of total tranquillity, surrounded by the glittering, crystal-clear waters of the Aegean Sea.
For first-time visitors, we highly recommend making the most of Bodrum's lively local markets. From intricate textiles, to rich and vibrant food stalls, this is the place to mix with the locals and soak up a traditional sense of the Peninsula. For those looking to unearth the treasures of ancient Halicarnassus, the city that once existed where Bodrum stands today, the local Amphitheatre, also known as the Bodrum Antique Theatre, is also a must-stop spot! Finally, in order to make the most of Bodrum's spectacular natural scenery, a trip to one of the region's stunningly beautiful beaches is the ideal way to spend an afternoon. Lay back on a sun lounger, sip on a refreshing cocktail or two and enjoy views of the waves before strolling back through the peaceful, whitewashed town as the sun sets.
